"In die Jahre gekommene Business Mittelklassehotel in guter Lage für Besichtigung der historischen Viertel. Gutes Frühstück und einfache Onsen (zwei Becken plus Sauna). Diverse kleine Mängel (Türschloss defekt, kaputte Wäschetrockner, tropfende Toilette, alte Bettdecke) und hellhörig. An sich ist die Lage ruhig und mit China Town um die Ecke attraktiv. Bahnhof 11 Minuten (Straßenbahn) / 25 Minuten (zu Fuß) entfernt. Freundliche Mitarbeiter."

"My stay at JR Kyushu Hotel Nagasaki was the perfect beginning to a seamless vacation in Japan. The hotel is ideally located right next to the brand-new Nagasaki Station, which is not only beautiful and modern but also connected to a stylish shopping mall with a rooftop Starbucks—a great spot to unwind or take in city views. Getting from the airport was easy: the airport limousine bus drops you off right at the station, just steps from the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is efficient and welcoming, with glass elevators adding a sleek architectural touch. One of my favorite parts was the bar and restaurant next door in the Marriott, which was perfect for a relaxed drink or dinner without having to venture far. Starting my journey in a smaller, calmer city like Nagasaki was a great choice—it helped me ease into the pace of Japan without feeling overwhelmed. The JR Pass was easy to pick up here, too—the ticket office is smaller and quieter compared to the large and often crowded stations in Tokyo or Osaka. Overall, a delightful and stress-free start to my trip. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate comfort, convenience, and a softer landing into Japan."

"Sehr schönes, geräumiges und neues Apartment mit vier bequemen Betten. Super für Familien. Aufzug und Rampe zum Eingang vorhanden. Check-In reibungslos. Relativ große Bad. Super Spielplatz ums Eck. Etwas wenig Platz im Eingangsbereich für Kinderwagen. Küchenausstattung ok. Wasserkochen (Nudeln) dauert leider ewig. ‚Wohnbereich‘ hat uns weniger gefallen. Eher ungeeignet zum Essen und Bank zu schmal zum liegen. Tablet, fest an der Wand installiert, konnte nur in Schlafmodus geschaltet werden und leuchtete noch relativ hell (Stört v.a. im Bett davor). "
