Ein wunderbares Hideaway Resort
Das Le Taha‘a Hotel ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um so richtig auszuspannen und abzuschalten. Wir haben die vier Nächte sehr genossen. Wir würden unbedingt wieder einen Overwater Bungalow buchen. Der Aufpreis für die Sunset View lohnt sich nicht nur wegen der wunderbaren Sonnenuntergänge, sondern auch, weil diese Bungalows besser windgeschützt sind. Das Bungalow war sehr geräumig und sauber. Man sieht, dass die Häuser nicht mehr ganz neu sind, aber alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Das Sonnendeck ist überdurchschnittlich gross und es ist herrlich, am Morgen nach dem Erwachen in die Lagune zu steigen und zu schwimmen. Schnorchler kommen im nahen Korallengarten auf ihre Rechnung. Ein natürlicher Durchgang zwischen zwei kleinen Inseln mit angenehmer Strömung, mit der man sich an den Korallen vorbei treiben lassen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und von sehr guter Qualität. Einzig die Freundlichkeit auf Aufmerksamkeit des Personals könnte noch gesteigert werden. Insgesamt hat uns das Le Taha‘a sehr gut gefallen, wir würden bei einem nächsten Mal unbedingt wieder hier übernachten

Check in was difficult since both in English and French it was very difficult to communicate with the Asian lady at the check in counter. She tried her best but her accent was so extreme that I understood very little. For a resort in this price category I expect to be able to communicate properly.

Exzellenz in jeder Hinsicht
High-End Südseeurlaib in traumhafter Umgebung und in einem Resort, das auf in allen Bereichen der Hotellerie seine Exklusivität zelebriert. Perfekter und freundlicher Service. Bungalows luxuriös eingerichtet in authentisch polynesischem Innendesign. Man kann kaum schöner wohnen als in den großzügigen Overwater Bungalows. An den Farben des Wassers kann man sich nicht satt sehen. Balsam für die Seele! Die Gastronomie ist sehr gut, das Gourmetrestaurant allerdings enttäuschte - vielleicht kam ich mit zu hohen Erwartungen. Das Hotel bietet viel Privatsphäre. Das dürfte auch ein Grund dafür sein, dass man den einen oder anderen Hollywoodstar ungezwungen im Familenurlaub erleben kann. Die Anlage verfügt über einen eigenen Korallengarten, der bereits beim Schnorcheln eine große Vielfalt bunter Fische bietet und dazu im Hintergrund die beeindruckende Kulisse von Bora Bora. Wir waren zu viert mit der Famile dort - und keiner wollte wieder nach Hause... Ach ja, die offene Herzlichkeit der Polynesier wurde in liebenswerter Weise besonders von Tupu nahegebracht, der die Bars betreut und offenbar von allen Gästen - Hollywoodstars inklusive - ins Herz geschlossen wird. Das Taha‘a ist für Französch-Polynesien eine erste Wahl.

Nice Resort!
We had the overwater villa 42, which was fantastic. Long way to the restaurant and coral garden though. But we didn’t mind at all. The walk was necessary after having such a great breakfast every morning. Enough excercise besides snorkeling in the coral garden and in the lagoon. The coral garden is really great. If you ever decide to go there, explore the coral garden!!! There’s a lot to see. Even a moray eel and occassionally sting rays. The moray eel is huge, but harmless. Nice to float there and watch for a while. The overwater bungi was great and spacious. Everything you need is in there…and enough space outside to lay down for the sun. The colors of the water you see from there are just great. The SPA is also very nice, but quite expensive. Le Vanille, the restaurant, has a good choice of food, which is also really delicious. We didn’t try the a la carte, since it’s quite expensive. But here is also a negative comment on the restaurant. Be aware, that when there is a Polynesian buffet with a dance show (costs around 80 EUR/pp), you cannot go to the restaurant to pick something from the menu!!! Therefore the buffet and the gourmet restaurants were too expensive for us, so we had to order via room service. They charge you 1000 XPF just for the service, because you cannot go to the normal restaurant. Overall Le Taha’a is a really good resort, which could improve by brushing up the wooden stuff (that became worn out) and changing the approach while having a buffet at Le Vani

Luxus in Abgeschiedenheit
sehr ruhigund wunderbare Alternative zu Bora Bora, sehr tranquil, auf kleinem Motu gelegen, man fühlt sich wie Robinson Crusoe, Personal extrem freundlich, man ist fernab jeglicher Gedanken an den Alltag, Palmen Meer und Himmel in prächtigen Farben, kleines Korallenriff in der Lagune (dort habe ich 1000de Fische, Stachelrochen und eine Muräne gesehen) Touren nach Taha'a zu Vanillafarm oder Perlenfarm, viele Aktivitäten direkt am Hotel buchbar, wunderschöner Spabereich z.T im Freien mit kleiner Lagune, Zimmer(Strandvilla) war riesig mit eigenem Pool, Terasse, privatem Strandbereich, Hängematte zwischen zwei Palmen, sehr gutes Essen, frisch gepresste Obstsäfte, Abends Fisch des Tages usw.. besonders geeignet für die totale Entspannung und Abschalten vom Alltag auf hohem Niveau.

Ein Südseetraum!
Sowohl den Bungalow als auch das Service kann ich nur als perfekt bezeichnen, die Lagune ist traumhaft. Der Bungalow war bei der Ankunft mit Blüten geschmückt, perfekt sauber, und wurde von einer Hotelangestellten sehr nett präsentiert. Die geräumige Terasse mit überdachtem Sitzplatz sowie zwei bequemen Liegestühlen und mit einer Stiege zur glasklaren türkiesblauen Lagune haben wir sehr genossen. In den Restaurants gab es sehr gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen mit sehr gutem Service. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Absolutely stunning property. Staff is wonderful and helpful. We had a fantastic time. The bungalows are clean and beautiful and the coral gardens are amazing. Only constructive criticism is we were not told that we (and I think everyone) has breakfast daily included. We didn’t realize this until the third day. But again otherwise all around a wonderful stay! Thank you!!

13 years ago, I visited this property as a journalist on a sponsored press trip and never forgot my experience. I hoped to be able to afford to one day return as a guest, as being a young reporter, staying here would’ve been completely cost prohibitive. Over a decade later I returned with my fiancé to celebrate his 50th birthday. Since my last visit, the hotel has evolved into being one of the most luxurious resorts in the world, though the beauty of Le Taa’ah is that you never really feel like you’re in a resort — more like a rarefied boutique hotel where no detail has been spared. This is paradise on earth. Every experience from the spa to a private motu picnic to simply a poolside cocktail feels completely bespoke. Try to time your visit for Polynesian night, when there is a bountiful spread of fresh caught fish and beautiful sashimi on offer as well as live music and dance under the stars. Tipairua is the fine dining restaurant on property and Chef Christophe certainly plays up to his two-Michelin star rating. (Though even the most casual meal at Le Taha’a is as vibrant on the palate as it is visually stunning). I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Whether you go as a couple for the most romantic getaway of your life or by yourself for a restorative wellness retreat, you will return home dreaming of the technicolor waters, the scent of vanilla and tiare, and the warm hospitality you are enveloped in at this property for weeks on end.

The property is magical, perfect in any way. The lagoon water and facilities are even more beautiful than in some resorts in Bora Bora. The snorkeling in the corral garden is a fantastic addition. The staff and little gifts made us feel wellcome from the start till the end. Would come back in a split second. If I had to suggest anything for improvement, it would be to have a well trained and dedicated bartender and more interesting dinner options at the restaurant, though the food presentation was fantastic, as well as the breakfast buffet. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Amazing property, top notch service, friendly stuff. The manager Jackson was so nice to lend me a go pro charger that I could not even find in the USA and made my vacation so much better with being able to take some underwater pictures in their wonderful coral garden. The hotel location is incredible and the stuff is extremely friendly, made us feel like at home. We are planing on coming back for sure. The property is very clean, food was delicious and the water in a lagoon is pristine. Free paddle boards, snorkel gear and kayaks. True paradise

Très bel hôtel très bien équipé. Plage abritée mais bungalows pilotis extrêmement exposés au vent et de ce fait, impossible de profiter de l’espace extérieur. Restaurants fantastiques et jardin de corail également. Personnel au petit soins !

We arrived very early so our room was not ready, but that didn’t stop us from being treated exceptionally at the pool, restaurant, etc.. When our room was ready, Guilda took me to our room and showed me all the features. Included was a bottle of champagne and chocolates/cookies that she said were complimentary due to this visit being our second! My only regret was our stay being so short. We had a boat to catch for a week long TradeWinds cruise. After checkout, we were allowed to stay and continue charging to our room for lunch and any other incidentals. We were also given a key to a day room to use until we left. The General Manager also greeted everyone that was arriving and had lengthy discussions with each couple/family. I should also mention that everyone was given parting gifts. I highly recommend this resort and will gladly stay again if I return. I should mention that we had a beach villa with plunge pool for this visit. Our previous visit we had an overwater bungalow. Both accommodations were exceptional.

Island oasis - would love to enjoy again with sun!
We were in a premium beachside villa, with pool (49). It was amazing. It was the end of the property and private, but a bit of a haul (5+ minutes) to walk to the main areas for food and pool, if that's a concern for you. The property is lovely, so we actually enjoyed walking it end to end each day. Snorkeling in the coral garden was the highlight of our stay along with Tupu and the other bar/restaurant/pool staff. Disappointing part was we were only there for 3 nights (September) and the weather was horrible - strong winds and gusts all night and day, rain on and off, and our villa was on the windy side of the resort so we had to walk to the pool on the other side to even attempt to sit outside. Because of that, we really didn't get to enjoy our villa at all except to sleep in - I made the most of it by taking advantage of the outdoor shower instead. Breakfast was really good, limited options for lunch, but want we had was good (duck bruschetta was delicious), dinner entrees were hit or miss. We did the gourmet dinner and wine pairing one night and that was really enjoyable and delicious. Truly a relaxing stay despite the weather, but could have been once-in-a-lifetime type experience with mother-nature's cooperation!!

We came for the overwater bungalows and sandy beach, which met our expectations. Easy access to good snorkling was also a big plus. High meal prices and only average quality food were negatives.

Nice location
Location is great. Rooms are dated and need updating and repair. Polynesian staff were friendly and helpful. Other staff, not so much. Breakfast which was included was always good. The other eating venues were hit and miss. Would not stay again and felt the price charged wasn't worth what price paid.
