Buses connect Ortigia with Catania Airport (INTERBUS) and various towns along the coast and inland Sicily. Ortigia is a perfect island to explore on foot. You can walk to every point of interest in just a few minutes. The entire historic center is a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so you can't park along the streets (except for residents). Recommended parking options are: A private parking garage about a 200 meter (that's roughly a couple of blocks) walk away. You'll need to book this in advance. It costs 20 per night.
