Enttäuscht
Für fast 450 € pro Nacht hatte ich etwas anders erwartet. Die Suite war zwar sehr groß aber schön erheblich in die Jahre gekommen. Fotos zur Sauberkeit anbei. Die Küche war minimalistisch ausgestattet, der Pool super klein und nur ca. 10 Liegeplätze. Das Hotel liegt natürlich super mitten in der Stadt.

Zentrale Lage, daher laut
CONTRA: Leider liegt das Hotel nicht nur zentral sondern sehr nah an einer Kreuzung von mehreren stark befahrenen Hauptstraßen. Krankenwagen, sehr laute Busse und Motorräder machten unsere Nächte im 1Xten Stock sehr unruhig, da es keine schallisolierten Fenster gibt. Das Bett hat schon beim nächtlichen Drehen recht laut gequietscht. Die Duschtür ist mir entgegen gefallen, die Zimmertür hatte vermutlich einen Wähler und nicht immer geschlossen. PRO: sehr zentral sehr gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Sehr Nettes kompetentes Personal an der Rezeption, beim Housjeeping und auch sonst. Großes Zimmer

Zentral und grosse Räume
Die Zimmer sind eher ausgewachsene Appartements. Die Lage ist in Fussdistanz zu den touristischen Lokalitäten und neben der Metro. Den Preis den man für die Zentrale Lage zahlt, ist der Verkehrslärm, aber es ist eben Grossstadt. Es gibt kein Restaurant im Hotel, aber etliche Cafés und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (unrefurb. Room)
Das Hotel besteht aus vielen einzelnen Wohnungen, die unterschiedlichen Eigentümern gehören. Wir hatten ein unrefurbished Zimmer in der 11. Etage. Trotz anfänglicher Skepsis wurden wir positiv überrascht: Es war tatsächlich eine komplette Wohnung (ein offener Raum mit verwinkelten Bereichen), in der wirklich nichts fehlte: Vollständig vorhandene Küche mit allen Utensilien, Waschmaschine mit Trockner im Bad (an der Rezeption gibt es einzeln portioniertes Waschmittel für 2 AUD), daher super viiiiel Platz, netter Balkon, tolles großes und bequemes Bett. Ja, der Teppich hatte einige Flecken, das Design im Bad ist veraltet, dafür war alles top sauber und wurde täglich geputzt sowie aufgefüllt. Das Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit, zudem gibt es täglich kostenlos frische Äpfel an der Rezeption. Lage ist sehr gut: Oper und Hafen sind nur ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. U-Bahnstation Wynyard ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Dort ist auch ein Coles Supermarkt vorhanden, in dem man sich mit allen benötigten Lebensmitteln eindecken kann. Wer zum Bondi Beach möchte, kann in ca. 10 Minuten zur Bahnstation Town Hall laufen und von dort direkt hinfahren. Wir hatten frühzeitig gebucht und pro Nacht 116 € bezahlt (unrefurbished Room wie gesagt). Fazit: Jederzeit wieder!

Super Lage !
Das Zimmer war sauber aber grenzwertig veraltet. Wenn man so ein Hotel bucht rechnet man nicht damit so ein Zimmer zu bekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war absolut super und hat uns geholfen. Dafür nochmals Danke.

geniales Hotel in perfekter City - Lage
von hier aus kann man die ganze Stadt erkunden, man kann unheimlich viel zu Fuss machen es sind nur ca. 10min bis zur Oper zu Fuss und zum Hafen, man kann perfekt mit dem Boot fahren , auch sollte man unbedingt ein Tour in die Blue Mountens buchen einfach nur toll, es war ein tolle Zeit wir haben und 7Tage für Sydney eingeplant es ich finde das ist ideal um alles zu erkunden und ganz viel zu sehen es ist ein City der Superlative und ich kann sie nur weiter empfehlen, das Hotel ist Perfekt mit der kompl. Küche, da man auch die Möglichkeit hat sich selber zu verpflegen.

Empfehlenswertes Appartement
Wir waren 5 Tage im Hotel. Das Appartement war groß, gute Zimmereinteilung. Besonders positiv war, dass neben Dusche eine separate Badewanne vorhanden war. Ebenfalls gut war das Vorhandensein von Waschmaschine und Trockner. Beide Geräte waren neuwertig und hatten gute Wasch- bzw. Trocknerergebnisse. Ebenfalls ein schönes "Dazu" war der Balkon. Insgesamt war es ein schöner, entspannter Abschlussaufenthalt nach einer langen Rundreise. ***** (Hatte ich erwähnt, dass noch ein Außenpool und ein wirklich guter Trainingsbereich im Hotel war? :-))

Zentral gelegenes Hotel
Im großen und ganzen entsprach das Hotel der Beschreibung, nämlich dass das Zimmer im nicht renovierten Teil des Hotels ist. Trotzdem war ich dann etwas überrascht über die alten Wasserhähne im Bad und vor allem den uralten Backofen in der Küche. Das Zimmer hatte ich u.a. wegen der vorhanden Waschmaschine mit Trockner genommen, denn nach der bereits lang dauernden Reise war eine Wäsche angesagt. Die uralt-Waschmaschine hat ihren Dienst getan, der Trockner aber leistete nicht das, was man von ihm erwarten durfte. Für die Stadtbesichtigung, für Einkäufe, für Restaurantbesuche und für das abendliche Ausgehen ist die Lage des Hotels sehr gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum Frühstück muss man in das direkt daneben befindliche Hotel „Travelodge“ gehen (wenn man es nicht in der eigenen Küche des ca. 60 qm großen Zimmers machen möchte). Vom Flughafen kommt man mit dem AirportLink Train in 20. Min. zum Bahnhof Wynyard, der 100 m neben dem Hotel liegt. Meine Empfehlung: ein renoviertes Appartement in einem der höheren Stockwerke nehmen. Das Haus hat 22 Etagen. Ich war in der 10. Etage und da war der Straßenverkehr noch gut zu hören.

Sehr zentrale Lage. (je 5 Gehminuten bis zum Hafen mit dem berühmten Opera House, In-Quartier The Rocks, Darling Harbour und parallel zur George Street: der Einkaufsmeile in Sydney) Perfekte Ausstattung mit riesen TV, Klimaanlage, Küche, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und Tumbler. Wir hatten ein 2 Zimmer / 2 Bad-Appartement mit grossem Balkon und sicht auf den Sydney Harbour. Sehr sauber, freundliches Personal, gratis Wi-Fi im Empfangsbereich, kostenpflichtiges Wi-Fi im Zimmer. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden dieses Hotel wieder wählen.

Lady at the reception with blue hair and eyes was lovely when we checked in at 10pm. Instructions to find parking was easy. Hotel 2-3min walk to Wynyard station. The hotel is a little old and could definitely use some TLC but overall, I would say pretty value for money.

I really liked this hotel. They were able to get me an early check-in, which was very welcome after 22 hours of flying. I stayed twice in the span of a week, and was also able to store my luggage between stays. The rooms were huge, and had nice balconies. The shower was excellent (showers are a big deal for me). There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, as was Darling Harbor. I’d def purely stay there again. I just gave to figure out how to get back to Australia.

We were really disappointed with the cleniness of the property, the room smelt like urine and the bedroom carpet had the terrible smell of urine. the bathroom was not very clean, the overall cleanliess of the room wasnt great. The reception didn't tell us the address of the parking lot when we first enquired about it. so went to the wrong address had to call the reception number multiple times to find the car park and then navigate how to enter the car park as signage is extremely unclear. The lift was broken so didn't know which floor you were on. im glad we only stayed 1 night. walking distance to Brangeroo restaurants was good.

This place was amazing. Reasonable price and excellent facilities. All the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view, kitchen even a washer and dryer. If you are going to Sydney and need to be near Circular Quay, this is the place to stay.

We liked the size of our apartment and the level it was on (Level 26) Liked the service by Shari in looking after us. Liked the spa and pool area (pool cold though and spa stopped working) Liked the area the hotel is in although it can be noisy with traffic, construction work and air cond plants nearby We disliked the fact the pools were out of service for half the stay. The service people for the pool seemed to take a long time coming and then fixing the pools.

Poor checkin in process. Reception on his phone texting during checkin. Balcony dirty with cobwebs all over balcont area. Obviously not cleaned. Property wanted to charge $50 to check out one hr after checkout time

Dear Jill I am very sorry to hear the team was on the phone, ic might have ben mistaken for our duty mobile which we use to communicate with other departments? as staff should not be on their personal devises at all. We are very sorry for this lack of attention.
