Our stay in Sydney was Feb 9-21. Excellent location. Jules was helpful when we first arrived allowing us to gain access earlier than posted. We gained access to a lock box in an alley adjacent to the building. Had we arrived in the evening it would have been extremely difficult to locate the right box, along with concerns about personal safety being in a dark dimly lit alley, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the city. Once established in the suite we noticed the bathroom faucet wasn’t attached to the counter properly (photo taken). We contacted Jules about this indicating when we would be away so this minor repair could be done, but didn’t receive a response. We also asked about the schedule for towel and bed sheet changes, given our stay of 12 days. Jules indicated that during guest stays, the towels and bedding aren’t changed. We washed the towels with the washer & dryer provided, but didn’t do the bedding because we weren’t sure the dryer would sufficiently dry them, and didn’t want to repeatedly run the dryer to ensure the sheets would be dry enough to go back on the mattress.
Other things we discovered were as follows:
Shower temperature controls were reversed.
Some power outlets in the kitchen and next to the bed weren’t working.
Generally cleaning was lacking (photos taken)
The mattress should also be replaced.
If these issues are addressed, I would highly recommend and rate the accommodations higher, but only if the upkeep and house keeping improves.
