Sehr gutes Hotel und freundlicher Service. Als Hotel auf der Durchreise direkt an der Motorway M4 gelegen. Trotzdem sehr ruhige und geräumige Zimmer.

Hotel mit guter Verkehrsanbindung
Ich übernachte im Hilton in Swindon sowohl im Rahmen meiner Dienstreisen als auch für private Trips in die Region. Besonders über das Wochenende ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis m.E. sehr gut.

nettes Hotel aber mit zu kleinen Betten
gut geeignetes Hotel als Zwischenstation nach Schottland oder zurück auch durch die Nähe zu Stonehenge. die Zimmer sind guter Standard, nicht besonders gross, die Betten empfanden wir für grosse Personen als zu klein und die aufklappbare Liege als Doppelbett war auch nicht besonders, höchstens für Kinder geeignet. Für Paare besser geeignet als für Familien, mit jüngeren Kindern aber ok. Der Preis fürs Zimmer (über ein Portal gebucht) war angemessen, aber der Aufpreis für den Hund von umgerechnet 50€ (35 GBP) war extrem teuer, wodurch sich der Zimmerpreis relativierte. Für 4 Sterne Standard schon leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen im Bad, aber noch ok, umfangreiches Frühstücksbüffet.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit einem kleinen Makel
Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig in der Nähe der Autobahn und verfügt über sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten auch für behinderte Menschen. Es war alles sehr sauber und der Service stimmte auch. Für den Aufenthalt eines Hundes musste allerdings ein überdimensionierter Preis bezahlt werden.

I've stayed in Hilton's before and always have the same problem: the beds. Even just sitting on them, the bed squeaks and creaks and feels like it is about to fall apart. So it leads to a disturbed nights sleep when you turn over and it creaks. The beds need changing. Bedsides for toddlers would be great aswell, as the sofabeds are quite high off the floor, and toddlers roll straight over pillows (that are used to block them onto the bed). The bedrooms need to be more child/family-friendly. Otherwise, service, cleanliness and food were all excellent.

Do yourself a favour and stay at the premier inn across the road! This hotel is outside the town and they still charge you to park at the hotel. The bed was creeky and uncomfortable. The breakfast was poor and no proper coffee.

A good family stay
Arrived early. Room wasnt ready but they very kindly prioritised our room. Free cookies! Room was lovely, as expected from photo. Duvet on bed wasnt as big as the duvet, which coukd be improved. 1 tv wasnt a good picture, but the other worked well. Lovely breakfast and very helpful staff. Overall a good stay.

DoubleTree double up on service.
One night over the weekend before Christmas and from check in to checkout every aspect was near perfect (not everyone like sparkling water in the room but hey!) From the warm chocolate cookies handed out by reception staff to the little doggie treats, cleanliness of room and wider facilities. If we need a room in Swindon, this will be the destination of choice.

As a solo female traveller, I felt really safe here. The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities I needed. I slept like a log in the comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and I was greeted with a hot luxury chocolate cookie, a little treat. I would recommend this hotel.

Business for 4 nights
Reception, bar and restaurant all very clean and modern with the staff in all three being very helpful and friendly. But the first night the fire alarm went off at 10pm then the next night another warning alarm went off at 3am. Rooms are very dated and the beds are uncomfortable and make alot of noise. Will not be staying here again.

Bo et andet sted...
Havde virkelig håbet på en bedre hoteloplevelse baseret på at det faktisk er et DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Restauranten var under middel både aften og morgen. Der var intet varmt vand om morgenen!!!! Virkelig irriterende!

It was a very nice place to stay but the the room was a bit warm, the air con was not working but they provided the fans.

Travelling with teens and a dog
Very dog friendly, lovely reception area. Great sized room, perfect for a family with teenagers with a dog (we booked a suite). After messaging the hotel they made sure that we had a ground floor room near to an exit for the dog to be taken outside, which I thiught was really helpful.

Great hotel, pleasant staff, very helpful. Had to pay for parking, which wasn’t stated on booking, but over all very good and clean
