„The owners were very welcoming and their property is exactly as described. We cooked a few times and had everything we needed, the place was well stocked, extremely clean and easy to find. The view from the porch was beautiful. You couldn’t ask for a more gracious hostess- thank you Kathy! We’re already discussing our next trip.“

„We had a great stay, and would come back. Ours was a multigenerational gathering and everyone was pleased. Kathy is easy and prompt to work with. Terrific location, the porch overlooking the lake and the number of sizable bedrooms set this apart. Better stocked kitchen than 95 percent of short term rentals. „We enjoyed our stay very much and found this to be a perfect spot for a quick Labor Day Weekend getaway. Clean and cozy, with plenty of space for our family to spread out. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing. The fireworks over the lake on Sunday evening were an added bonus. Exactly what we were looking for! “

„Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia“

„We had a wonderful time at Spruce Haven! We used it as a basecamp for a family reunion with our cousins at Elk Lake. The kids and grandkids had a great time on the pond fishing, riding in the peddle boat and using the stand-up paddle boards. We all took advantage of the trails around the property, the firepit, the par-2 golf hole, the vast lawn and all the great "toys" that were provided. Our Elk Lake family loved it when we had them over for burgers and dogs cooked on the Blakstone grill. ...

„Beautiful view of the pond, was very relaxing to sit in front of the window and watch the sunset. Wonderful updated kitchen. Overall a great place to stay! The only thing we found a little tough to navigate was that since the fire pit is only a few feet from the pond and built into the hillside, it made it difficult to fit multiple people around it. “

„We had a wonderful time visiting Ricketts Glen and World End State Parks, only 20 mins away. The house is exactly as described in the listing. Very clean!! Quiet setting in the mountains. The new charcoal grill was an excellent addition. We also enjoyed the mamma and baby deer that visited every day. Plenty of outdoor space to play yard games we brought with us. Will definitely stay again! “

Was snowing when we arrived it was picture perfect scenery!!!!! Had a campfire outside. Was created with a bottle of wine and warm cabin….
