„Having enjoyed the stay at this very special Hilton. Nice atmosphere, great architecture, nice bar and spa area. Restaurant service at breakfast is struggling when it comes to peak times and could be more friendly. Dinner buffet/menu for 25 GBP p.P. is too expensive as quality and variety of food is below average as well as service level - having a coupon to get a "free drink" with self service reminds me of a canteen - not a Hilton.“

„Sehr schön ausgestattetes originelles kleines Hotel / Restaurant; sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal; schönes Zimmer mit Bad - lediglich das Waschbecken hätte etwas größer sein dürfen. Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände vorhanden. Leckeres Essen. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt.“

„A decent walk away from the town centre, this was ideal for a quick overnight stay. Hotel very dated and at night we got back to find security trying to keep trouble makers out the car park. However, we got a random unexpected upgrade into a suite which was exciting. Loved the double spa bath. Not bad for what we paid.“

„We had an amazing stay at the stables, check in was easy at the pub. Our room was beautiful as described and the hot tub was an amazing addition! The bed was super comfy. We had tea in the pub, steak is definitely their specialty, absolutely delicious meals. Amazing stay overall and will definitely be back!“

„Stain on bed sheet pee and tissue in the toilet Room was also freezing cold and took hours to heat up. Curtains didn't meet in the middle. Water for shower wasn't hot at all Won't be staying there again. “

„Das Hotel hat dringend eine Renovation nötig. Das Zimmer war noch am besten in Schuss. Der Poolbereich war nicht so sauber bzw. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen (die Decke blätterte ab). Auch das Restaurant war renovationsbedürftig. Die Teller und das Besteck beim Morgenessen war nie ganz sauber. Zum übernachten ganz ok, aber definitiv nicht top. “

„This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District.“

„Overall, not a good stay and wouldn’t recommend. Room very hot and no air conditioning, no bathroom mirror, place looked a little old and run down. Noisy building and main road made it difficult to get any sleep.“
