Needless to say we enjoy the rustic appeal and location, with close proximity to the AT and Vermont’s Long Trail; close enough to Manchester for dinner; or tours of the Orvis fly rod factory, American Fly Fishing Museum or Hildene“

It really is a beautiful place with a nice view. Very quiet and peaceful, it was a nice location to get away from the city. Only 4 minutes from Rock River, so that was a nice bonus. „I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! “

The dogs were enthralled by the koi fish (and so were we, honestly). The house itself is adorable and very comfortable. Jeremy is a phenomenal host and clearly takes pride in what he does. „We liked staying at the place as it had good amenities (washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge with a freezer, fan, inflatable bed, wifi, cable, free parking spots. etc) and a lot of space. Where there is no central AC, it had a window unit which worked well - we had a comfortable stay in mid-July.“
