„We stayed for one week in July 2022 in this very nice house. The contact with the owners was very smooth. The complete house and especially the kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the beds were comfortable too. The location of the house is in a very nice and quiet area. Located nearby the sea with some nice beach areas and cliffs ... a beautiful part of Scotland. Overall, we can only recommend this house especially for families and larger groups. „Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!“

„We had a fabulous two weeks at Laggansally. The house was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was very well equipped and the table was ideal as it was big enough for a 2000 piece jigsaw whilst still leaving plenty of room for four of us to eat / play games. Two good sized sofas in the lounge gave us plenty of space to spread out if we were watching tv although most of the time we were out and about or playing games. The location of the cottage was ...

„We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks ...

Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children.“

„Graham, our host, has built the perfect holiday cottage. Well planned, amazingly well equiped. This is by far the best self catering property that we've ever stayed in, and they've been many in New Zealand, France, Italy, Britain and the Scotland. The amount of wildlife in the area is wonderful. An added bonus, is the house is close to everywhere you'd want to visit but also out of traffic and flight paths.“

„We just loved our stay at Saltwater Chronicles. Beautiful, newly decorated lodge with a brilliant view of the sea. We loved walking along the rocks, exploring the caves, walking up through the stunning green glen to the impressive waterfalls. The two lochs are so pretty. Every member of the team we encountered on the estate was friendly and welcoming. The meals we ordered from the kitchen were delicious. Communications were quick and helpful. We can’t wait to return.“
