„The place was nice the house was excellent clean tidy and the host was so helpful we enjoyed it there we were 12 people and was best trip for us the shops coop and beach and Tesco were nearby and taxi private were so nice would I go again yes most definitely would I recommend it yes highly thanks“

„Great location, clean and very responsive owner who gave us an early check in. Only complaint would be the two single beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in each one. We managed to use extra duvets the second night to make it more comfortable.“

„Lovely setting with some great architecture. Friendly family run hotel but somewhat tired in places. Disappointed by the most bizarre room which had a full size stainless steel kitchen segregating a reasonably nice bedroom from the large but rather odd bathroom (which also housed the wardrobe). Had its own ‘orangery’ and small garden. Loads of blinds to close, some of which were broken and the orangery outer doors had no blinds. Open plan so couldn’t make it completely dark… luckily had my eye ...

„Good underground free parking. Nice apartment. 2 comfy beds. Very clean. TVs in both bedrooms. Excellent for an overnight stay. Lots of takeaways to choose from nearby.“

„Old, needs renovation, bad mattress, whole hotel smells bad, ... no words, by far my badest hotel experience in UK! I do not get, why this place has such a good evaluation!!!“

„Loved our overnight stay. This was a lovely tough of luxury from the hot tub and swimming pool to the complimentary mini bar. Would have liked to stay longer.“

Everything is done via text messages and code locks. The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned at all after the previous guests had left. „Room was lovely and clean and plenty or space. Staff on reception very helpful and nice. Only small downside was it would be good to put in the description that the parking area is tight and it was a bit of a struggle parking a larger car“

„It was a great stay“

„Great location, very comfortable room. Would highly recommend.“

„Beautiful lodge in a beautiful setting. A fantastically helpful host. “

„The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. The bedding and towels were lovely and soft and smelt nice and the bed was very comfy. It was close to Hornsea and a large Tesco. I would ...

„Wonderful accommodation and lovely grounds, pick your own fruit and easy parking. Lovely, friendly owner.“

„Stayed at the Chimes for 3 nights at a single room. Shower room was separate and just next to the room, for private use. The owner was very friendly and served a great breakfast. Fast check-in/check-out.“

„Lovely place great location. We had a great time “
