„The owner confirmed question before we arrived and was there to show us the room, letting us know breakfast time and aquantus us with the keys. The room was clean and warm with a separate toilet and shower that worked well. The breakfast was great with a choice of cereal, lots of high quality full english breakfast items and toast with jams. „walking distance to Ramsgate Harbour. Bus stop 7 minutes from hotel. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid. “

„Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges ...

„Having lived nearby for several years, have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, our preferred area and hotel throughout the Southeast. Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. Always a great selection of coffee, teas, milk on hand, hot chocolate, biscuits, kettle and nespresso machine. The food is amazing as always, breakfast with buffet, loved the crumpets.
