This place was incredible! When it said beach view, it means that literally. Very spacious And super clean. Excellent bed and linen. A fridge stocked with fruit, milk, juice, eggs, bread yogurts and water was lovely. Very narrow parking area. Super nice host!.

Not soundproof. Awful bathroom. Parking impossible so busy. Lights stuck on all night bathroom down corridoor. Really disappointing V v small bed.

Dear Leslie and Andrew. I am so sorry that you only felt able to give us a review of 3. As you will see that is not our usual standard. I will reply to your points one by one.This is a new room so thank you very much for pointing out that the sound proofing is inadequate at one area. This is now in hand and we are building a new sound proof partition to eliminate the problem. I am sorry it was so busy with arrivals that parking was so difficult. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about arrival times but fortunately it is very rare for everyone to arrive at once so this will be a very rare problem. The hall lights are on a motion sensor and the bed is a standard sized double bed. Thank you for the feedback. Kind regards David

Agréable B&B
Notre avis n'est sûrement pas le plus objectif puisque nous avions passé avant cela plusieurs nuits dans des B&B où le petit-déjeuner était beaucoup plus conséquent et servi à la commande (ici, il y a ce qu'il faut dans le frigo ou à côté et on se débrouille). De plus, nous n'avions pas très beau temps à Stonehaven alors que nous venions de profiter de 4 jours de grand soleil dans d'autres endroits... donc ça n'a pas été notre nuit préférée et nous ne pensons pas revenir un jour... Mais, pour être totalement honnête, on ne peut rien reprocher à ce B&B : la chambre était propre et donnait sur la mer, le lit confortable, c'était calme et il y avait de quoi manger pour le petit-déjeuner. La communication avec le propriétaire était bonne (messages avant d'arriver avec code de la boîte à clé et instructions pour garer la voiture) et il est venu nous parler lorsque nous sommes sortis nous promener. Nous sommes allés à pied au château de Dunnottar, le sentier côtier est très agréable.

Great 2 night stay and David is an excellent host who simply can’t do enough to make your stay memorable. Waking up to the sunrise every morning with the waves gently crashing onto the shore, this place is in the perfect location

This error in describing"a private terrace " as "a balcony" was due to our downsizing our acommodation (several of the rooms that we no longer offer did have balconies not terraces). We acknowledged this error to the guest and gave him a discount of 73%.

Highly Recommended - Lovely
Lovely warm bright apartment with beautiful shower and comfortable bed. Excellent variety of breakfast cereal options, even delicious ground coffee together with a welcoming little bottles of wine. Quick and reliable when necessary. Very highly recommended and in a good central location.

Fantastic beach front apartment.
We stayed in the beachfront apartment. It was really nice, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing, we could have sat there all day watching the world go by. The apartment had everything we needed and the host David was very friendly and was always available if we needed anything. The apartment came with a designated on site parking space and was very near to the town centre. We will certainly stay here again when we return.

It was not advertised that the room was a ground floor on a parking. They only advertised the Room with sea view but the only courtyard room is directly on a parking. Avoid this one

I am sorry that you did not get the room you wanted. However both our rooms "The Beachfront" and "The Courtyard" are clearly advertised on Expedia and only the Beachfront is described and has pictures of a Sea View. The Courtyard which you booked does not. We have not had a problem with Expedia about this before but I have asked them to include "No Sea view" in the room code as well - just to be triply sure. If you wish to contact me personally I will forward you a refund of £30 to help make up for your disappointment. David

Right on the sea wall walkway.
Great location on the sea wall walkway with just a short walk to restaurants. Fantastic friendly hosts. A little tight on getting a larger vehicle into parking area. Only thing that could have made it better would be an exterior sun shade for the beautiful but hot morning sunrise.

Amazing view and location!
We stayed in Stonehaven during our Scotland trip and we are so happy we picked Bayview. The location was perfect and the view was incredible. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean, who can beat that! They left a lot of Scottish delicacies in the room for us to enjoy was another plus! The breakfast was absolutely amazing and delicious! I highly recommend Bayview if you’re staying in Stonehaven!

Stonehaven is a nice place with more charming aspects than you would think at first sight - there is much more than just Dunnotar Castle! And the studio we had was in a very well condition, has a spectacular view and we were welcomed in an uncomplicated and friendly way. I can only recommend!

A fantastic place
A really nice place to stay in an excellent location. The owners are so nice and friendly, the breakfast was great. The room was modern and immaculate. There is WiFi throughout. This is by far one of the most well run B & B’s I’ve ever stayed in. We look forward to returning in the future
