Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. „We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. I’m a bit of a Nespresso addict and usually take a machine with me when I travel, I didn’t this trip but was delighted when I found a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room.

There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid. “

„I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! "Thanks to the team from Harmony Hills for making this holiday possible!You'll have a direct view from your breakfast table onto the north sea. Just step over the street and you look down the cliff onto St. Mary's Beach. A 5 minute walk to the south gets you to Viking Bay, the main beach in Broadstairs. That's from where you can reach the towns centre and the restaurants...The flat provided plenty of room for our family. The kitchen is more on the small side though.Communication with the team at Harmony Hills was excellent and always on time (also when on short notice). "
"Das Hotel sowie die Lage sind wunderschön. Das Personal war weitestgehend freundlich. Das Zimmer war hübsch eingerichtet. Das Bad war jetzt nicht auf dem neusten Stand, aber soweit sauber. Die Dusche war in der Badewannenvariante mit Regendusche, allerdings leider ohne Handbrause. Ich würde das Hotel grundsätzlich weiter empfehlen. Im übrigen auch das Essen im Restaurant."

"Aus jedem Fenster sieht man das Meer, kann auch bei Ebbe direkt vom privaten Strand nach Broadstairs laufen. Ruhige Lage (kein Bäcker oder Restaurant im Viertel), nächstes Café ist in der Nachbarbucht Stone Bay. Alle Buchten in beide Richtungen gut zu Fuß zu erlaufen. Sehr erholsam. Ein Flipper im Flur beschäftigt die Kinder, ein Hotpot die Erwachsenen. Herrlich."
