„This is a really lovely place to stay.Very clean, quite,cosy with a real fire.From the windows you get a lovely view of the gardens.Holmfirth is just a 20 minute walk.Hosts were very helpful.Would we go back? YES.“

„Das Cottage braucht dringend Investitionen in die Ausstattung. Die Sofas sind beispielsweise fleckig und durchgesessen. Der Teppich sieht sehr verbraucht aus. Die Handtücher waren grenzwertig verfleckt mit Bleiche und nicht näher zu definierenden braunen Flecken. Drei Lampen hatten defekte Glühbirnen als wir ankamen. Auch funktionell gab es Defizite. Die Türe im einen Bad schließt nicht. In einem der Schlafzimmer schließt die Türe auch nicht. Beide Bäder können nicht zeitgleich benutzt werden. ...

„Amazing stay, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and en-suite. The lodge is detached from a large house but there is dedicated access and the location is perfect! Just round the corner from Heaton Park, which is a lovely bonus. If you want some autonomy and the ability to cook, this is fantastic, one of the best stays I have had and I travel a lot.“

„Our family of 5 loved staying at this property in tge beautiful Hebden Bridge. Fabulous, quirky location on the side of a very, very steep cobbled road. We were fortunate to find parking at the bottom of the hill not far from the house. It is a bit of an effort lugging suitcases up the hill but it is so worth it!Not the place for those with mobility issues though.House was lovely and had everything we needed and only a few minutes walk into town.Highly recommend!“

In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. “

Not a great problem at all, but think these items were inadvertently left at the changeover clean. But this is not an important criticism - the property was wonderful.“

„Very cute little cottage. It is very clean, has all the comforts of home but away from home. We didn’t expect all the little extras that make our holiday perfect such as tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits! There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook!
