Wow John, You really nailed it! I don't know what the problem with hot water is. As far as the number of people who stay, I really don't care (within reason) as long as you all are comfortable and I know the number so that the maids can prepare with towels, soap, toilet paper and bed linens. Saurin, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We too, love the balconies (spend a lot of time on them). As far as upgrading goes; we put in a new floor last year and expect to remodel both bathrooms this year (while they reroof our building) and plan to remodel the kitchen next year. Thank you for staying with us Karyn and I’m sorry you were not 100% satisfied with our condo but I wanted to address your concerns. First and foremost the unit does not have bedbugs. I was so appalled by your claim that I had an inspector look the whole condo over and he found no trace of bed bugs. What probably bit your daughter are sand fleas, commonly called “no see ems” in the islands. Sand fleas are prevalent on Caribbean beaches. For some unknown reason they seem to like to attack newcomers on their first day on the island and from then on leave that person alone. Secondly it was stated in the rental agreement cover letter that you would not receive maid service during your 4 day stay but that it was available if requested at additional cost. There is a toaster oven on the counter. I don’t know how you missed it. I apologize about the fan, the hinge, the bulbs and the screen. They have since been addressed and repaired. You are 100% correct about owner involvement. My wife and I religiously stayed at our condo each year for at least 3 weeks to address repairs. But unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, we have not been there since 2018! It won’t help you but we are scheduled to spend the month of August there to supervise the remodeling of the bathrooms.
