"For the money we paid we expected a clean and dry room. Unfortunately the room was not well kept. It seemed to be very humid due to the AC that doesn’t run when the room is not occupied. There was mold on our shower curtain and all fabrics and shelves seemed to be damp as well as our clothes after one night of staying there. Continental breakfast meant one piece of toast, one tea or coffee and some fruits. I had to discuss that our towels are changed twice during a five nights stay. We really didn’t felt welcome at the Tamarind Court beeing asked if we really want our towels to be changed because we are leaving one day later anyway. The beach chairs that were there for free rent were standing in the rain without shelter and due to this full of mold and rust. It would be easy for the Tamarind team to place them on a dry spot. The location to restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay as well as the free parking were good. The cleaning staff did a good job when they cleaned our room twice. They just couldn’t do anything against the mold and dampness. "
