Schickes Cottage mit allem Komfort und sehr nettem Vermieter
Wir haben uns in diesem Cottage sehr wohl gefühlt, toller Ausgangspunkt für St Ives. Der Vermieter reagiert sehr schnell auf Anfragen. Plus bei den Parkplatzpreisen: Garage in 5 min Entfernung (erfordert etwas Einparkkönnen :-)) Gern wieder.

Translation - We felt very well in this cottage, great base for St Ives. The landlord responds very quickly to inquiries. Plus the parking prices: garage in 5 minutes (requires some Einparkkönnen :-)) Gladly again We love enjoying all guests at the cottage and we are so glad to welcome international guests. Yes the garage is a little tight but so handy for st ives parking issues. We always respond as quickly as we can to any problem no matter how small. We love that the cottage is very welcoming to all Many thanks Geri and rob

Great little cottage
Cottage is small (as are most in St Ives!) but has everything you need and in a great location. Can get a little noisy from passing people and cars but again this is pretty normal when in St Ives. Would happily stay here again in the future, and it was spotless throughout.

Lovely cottage, great location, could even see the sea from the bedroom window. Everything we needed was there, nice and warm in the evening. Perfect cosy cottage for a couple. Beaches, shops, pubs all on the doorstep. Would stay here again.

The cottage was in the ideal location only a 5 minute walk from St Ives harbour and 5 minute walk to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay, only down side was parking but it wasn't a big issue. Whoever stays at this cottage pull up outside and drop your stuff off and drive down to the st Ives train station car park as it's only 25 pound for a week, don't park at the laundrette carpark they charge 112.50 a week and we saw on reviews they give you a parking tickets even when you have paid

Just what we needed
We stayed here as a last minute family getaway with a 2 and 4 year old. The cottage is right in the middle of town and perfectly compact for a week away. The king size bed was plenty of room for two adults and our youngest, with an extra single bed in the room for our older girl who loves her own space. Just a note that there are stairs in the property with no stair gate, but we managed fine with a few ground rules. The washer dryer and dishwasher proved invaluable. There was even a basket of toys for the kids, loads of DVDs and access to streaming services, and windbreakers, umbrellas and buckets and spades to borrow for the beach. Communication with Mark was fantastic too and the welcome pack was very detailed and clearly laid out. Basically if you’re after a simple, small home away from home for your holiday, this place is full of charm and just what you need.

Cosy cottage exactly as described. Great location in the centre of the town, beach, harbour and restaurants all within easy reach. No parking, but Park Avenue car park less than 5 mins up the hill £25 for the week.

Amazing little Gem
Had an amazing time I this gorgeous little cottage in the middle of St Ives… as a line traveller there was everything I needed I never felt unsafe it was so easy to find… there is no parking outside but I did stop there to unload and reload easily enough . I parked at the leisure centre as I was back late and out early every day the most I paid was £5 per day … the cottage has everything you could possibly need and the way the kitchen is set out uses every inch of space I couldn’t think of anything I needed which wasn’t there .. Very comfy bed and a lovely big bathroom ..

Cute Cornish cottage
Lovely little Cornish cottage right in the hustle and bustle of st Ives , everything on your doorstep. Due to this great location it can be noisy at times. Well presented inside, lovely decor . Plenty of local information and maps . Some plates and mugs needed cleaning before use , but there was a dishwasher to use , and a few little extras would have been helpful such as salt and pepper and foil. However despite these very minor points , it was a lovely holiday and I would recommend this cottage. Thank you

Clean cottage ideal for couple. Individual design. Handy for St Ives harbour. One suggestion for pre travel information to book weekly long stay parking permit through Cornwall council website ahead of travel.

Best location Small but probably how all these cottages are Equipped for children with all the beach gear, our child loved the movie collection however we never turned the tv on too tired from exploring Parking was a bit of a mission, when we originally booked there was parking which is why we chose the cottage Overall had a good stay

Thank you for your review, however it does state on the description - Parking is not available at the cottage but we are five minutes from a long-stay car park.

A cosy cottage in the heart of St Ives
This is a lovely, cost cottage well placed in St Ives within easy reach of the town, the front and the beaches. The cottage sleeps 2 easily but has a spare single bed in the bedroom and a pull-out double sofa in the lounge,. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable break. The kitchen although small has a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, cooker and washer dryer and all space is used well and there is everything you could need. The living/dining room is lovely with 2 comfy sofas, large TV and so many DVDs if you need them. There are beach supplies if needed including buckets and spades, wind breaks and picnic blankets. There is a small courtyard put the back with a washing line and a little bistro set. Upstairs there is a lovely double bedroom with a single bed if needed and lovely fresh bed linen and fresh towels. There is plenty of spare linen and bedding if you need to use the extra beds. The bathroom has a lovely, powerful shower and again plenty of supplies. There is no parking with the property but there is a public park just up the hill behind the cottage which was easier to access via some steps. We paid .£47 to leave the car there all week. We will definitely be returning and would recommend Trestenor Cottage if visiting this beautiful part of Britain.

We had a great stay. The property is ideally located in St Ives. just a stones throw from the centre and within a few minutes walk from two long stay carparks (the property no longer has the parking space as mentioned on previous reviews). The property is only one bedroom however the bedroom is large with both a double & single bed, it is very well equipped, including beach items. The only slight negative was the road noise but we knew it was on one of the main roads into St Ives and it was to be expected to an extent. The communication with the owner was excellent as well. We'd definitely stay here again on any future visits.

Charming cottage stay
The cottage was situated amazingly to have a stroll into St Ives. The added garage was great and we didn’t need to move the car once we were there. The cottage itself had everything we needed. No central heating but the electric heaters provided kept it cosy even though it’s December. Perfect little stay, thanks!

We had a great stay at this property. It was perfectly located and had everything one could need in terms of amenities for a coastal break down in Cornwall. The proximity to the centre of St Ives couldn’t have been better with easy access to the local shops, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here and would very happily return again!

Lovely little cottage, good location, only a 10 min walk to the beach. Only downside was the parking situation with the garage being a 10 min walk away, and the garage being insecure due to the door being broken and tied open. But I was assured by the home owner this is being rectified. Overall great location and nice accommodation.

Great location
We loved the location of this place; basically a 5-10 minute walk to any of the beaches and even closer to the town centre. It made it really easy to come back and forth as we pleased. Its a small property, cute and homely and was fine for 2 adults and 1 toddler - not sure it would be comfortable with more although there is a sofa bed. The only negative was a few issues with water not running or draining properly, which is often typical in older properties and wasn't a big deal. Do be aware the garage is really small; we just about managed to get a Ford focus in (husband needed me outside to guide in, then he had to climb out of back door) and was awkward getting it out as other cars were parked in the vicinity. Any bigger than a focus would be extremely tricky! Thank you geri and Rob for our stay.

Lovely cottage, very well equipped
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage especially for it's easy walking distance to St Ives town centre. The house is very well equipped (we stayed for a weekend) and the biggest bonus was the amount of toys and DVDs for our 5 year old, especially on a rainy day!
