„This house was perfect for our family trip. The house was meticulous, clean, well organized, and had everything we needed to make our family vacation a blast. It was on its own private beach on Lake Michigan, beautiful sunset and sunrises lots of wildlife to be seen and only 10 to 15 minutes away from the port to Mackinaw. We felt like we were staying at a friends house as the host was extremely considerate to his guests, having very nice soaps, shampoos, and even left us a festive table ...

„Home is comfortable and very clean. Kitchen is nicely stocked, appliances all in good working order. Conveniently located close to grocery store and restaurants. Owner friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.“

„Clean, comfortable, cozy. The cabin feels like it’s at the end of the world, but it is easy to get to Petoskey and Mackinac Island. We had our two dogs with us and they loved investigating the yard, which is full of naturalized plantings and mown paths. The space was great for my husband and me, but I think it would be tight with any additional adults. This was a great getaway!“

„Overall we greatly enjoyed our time here. However, there were a few issues. First, the freezer melted our ice cream. Second, we were basically told "good luck" about using the oven, which would have been nice to know before we bought groceries. Third, the heat had already been turned off for the season and it was COLD at night. Thankfully some of the beds had heaters, which was great. The fireplace downstairs is just for looks/ambience. It provided no heat to the room when on. There were only 3 ...

„The stay on Carp Lake was a pleasant stay. The location is great for visiting Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. It is just a short 10 minute drive. The kitchen was great. The beds, bedding, and pillow were comfortable. The view from the living room and porch is incredible. The only thing I would change would be to make the address pop out a little more. We found the cabin based on the picture on VRBO. It wasn't until we were leaving on the last day that I saw the address on a post.“

„While vacationing, we prefer to stay off the grid from the attractions, but like to be close enough to have quick access. We loved this cabin! It was clean and cozy with a beautiful view. We looked forward to arriving back to the cabin nightly following our adventures to cook dinner in the grill, relax lakeside and enjoy the view. „Cabin was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Walked the Mighty Mac which was an amazing experience. Loved the way the cabin was decorated. The only suggestion we would have is putting some slip resistant Tape in the claw foot tub. Very slippery and there is nothing to hang onto to assist you“

„Average stay for a vrbo (per our experiences). Nice partial view of the lake. Very quiet area. Older home kept up nicely. Beds could be a little better and was not able to use the jacuzzi tub. Other than that, everything was good.“
