Urige Hafenkneipe
Zwei Tage Aufenthalt, ein paar Mängel am Zimmer: die Türe (Raum 1) kann man von innen nur mit Tricks öffnen, die Temperaturregelung beim Duschautomat macht was sie will, ansonsten passt es schon, manchmal kann es laut werden, aber wer auf urige Kneipen steht der wird hier glücklich, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, im Zimmer geht dann leider kein Internet

Cosy Authentic Pub with Rooms - Great Food!
The Ship is a really interesting and authentic place to stay and provides excellent food, drink and service. The staff were really friendly and helpful, despite having struggled to keep the pub open as a result of recent spring tide flooding of the bar. The room was homely and comfortable, but a little maintenance would be good

I stayed on the evening at the start of festival week. It was loud as to be expected and it was great to be in the thick of the activities. Location is excellent and not far from the car park. Room was clean, although a little tired.

Long weekend in great little harbour town
Excellent stay all round. The Ship is located right in the centre of Mevagissey; best car park is less than 5 minutes walk away. Really friendly and efficient staff, good food and great rooms!

Food and service was good. Room to small could not move freely around room. Could do with a good clean and a lick of paint. Noise early in the morning from deliverys but to be expected in small villages.

The ship inn was a lovely hotel . The staff were very friendly and accommodating and made us very welcome. Breakfast was lovely and adapted to our preference. Would definitely stay again.

Room in the heart of Mevagissey
Stayed here a couple of nights. It’s right in the very heart of the village. The room and breakfast were fine. For the veg breakfast we had crumpets with egg.

We were so excited to stay in The Ship Inn and it did not disappoint. Heaps of character and the hosts were a lovely friendly bunch. Breakfast was delicious and the pub is just a cracking place to spend an evening. We also ate our dinner in the Inn and the ham was absolutely superb. Would definitely recommend it.

Could have been better!!
Room ok, could have been cleaner ( blinds etc) didn't get cleaned the whole time we were there ( 3 days should have been 4) then asked to strip bedding and put in bin liners ourselves when we left!! Now we know the COVID situation is putting extra pressure upon these establishments but after staying in another B&B just a few weeks ago there was no comparison in establishments as the one a few weeks ago was cleaned everyday with new bedding and towels, think the owners are missing a trick here as the pub/restaurant was fine but don't seem to bothered about the B&B side of it!!

Enjoyed the stay at the hotel, having not been to Mevagissey in 20 years it was brilliant to return and see everything in the same way and all friendly persons too. Enjoyed the two night stay!

The Ship Inn is right in the middle of Mevagissey, so you can walk to harbour, cafe's, shops and restaurants. Their is a car park (pay/display) just 5 minutes away

Great stay in the heart of a very touristy fishing port. Two nights stay is perfect. Good beer and food and lots of options around the port. Staff very friendly and helpful. We left our brand new phone and charger in the drawer by mistake when we checked out and they emailed us and sent it on courier service to our next address next day. Only problem with the place is no parking and we had to pay 20 quid in parking charges

The Ship is a very old property with lots of character. Low ceilings and floors that slope. Our room wasnt the biggest but it was ok for our short stay. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The bathroom was also on the small side, the no lock on the door and a shower door which had come off its runner. The staff were all very friendly especially the lady who served breakfast.No complaints with a fine Cornish breakfast.

If we had to sum up in one word what made our stay so good it would be "Staff" not just front of house but kitchen staff too. The food was excellent and generous portions. Nothing was too much trouble for any one, all were happy to help and so friendly.
