Charlestown Harbour was constructed between 1799 and 1800 by Charles Rashleigh, whose name the village proudly bears. Once a thriving hub for the export of copper and china clay, remnants of its maritime past remain — including the original shutes on the eastern wall once used for loading cargo. Today, the harbour is a captivating place to wander, with charming cafes and pubs nearby, including The Rashleigh Arms, conveniently located just behind The Old Smoke House.

Inside, the property combines character with comfort. The well-equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, featuring an electric oven, electric ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a breakfast bar seating four.
