Tolles Hotel direkt neben dem Old Course
Ein tolles Hotel, gleich neben dem legendären 17. Loch des Old Courses. Das Paradies für Golfer und definitiv auf 5* Niveau. Tolles Hote mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Restaurants sind zwar teuer, aber es gibt hervorragende Steaks!

Keine Wünsche offen geblieben!
Wir hatten zwei unglaublich geräumige Suiten, die allen Komfort boten, den man sich wünschen kann. Der Service war wirklich herausragend, ebenso das Frühstück.

Stilsicheres, altes Hotel mit viel Atmosphäre mit
Gemeinsam mit meiner Frau bezogen wir anlässlich der festlichen Graduation unserer Tochter ein Doppelzimmer für zwei Nächte. Wir genossen zwei ruhige, angenehme Nächte und zweimal ein hervorragendes Frühstück sowie durchgehend die natürlich Freundlichkeit des schottischen Hotelpersonals.

ist ok, das Hotel benötigt jedoch dringend eine Renovation denn an einigen Stellen ist es doch in die Jahre gekommen u. die Patina blättert langsam ab. Preis Leistung ist im unteren Mittelbereich zu klassieren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich u. hilfsbereit.

Einfach fantastisch!
Es hätte nicht schöner sein können: tolles Zimmer, traumhafter Wellnessbereich mit Outdoor-Whirlpool, Restaurant mit Panoramasicht auf das Meer, super Frühstück, zuvorkommende Kellner und sehr hilfsbereite Concièrges - das Old Course Hotel war jeden Penny wert :-)

superschön, aber wo war der Service?
Wir hatten das günstigste Zimmer, das immer noch sehr schön groß mit Sitzbereich war. Alles sehr schön und sauber. Der "günstige" Blick war trotzdem ganz nett, man sah sogar ein Eckle vom Meer.TV mit kostenlosen Filmen und sehr vielen Kanälen.Badewanne die tollste, die ich je sah: supertief und riesig, aber für ältere Leute vielleicht fast zu groß und tief. Pub des Hotels war sehr gut. Einziges Minus: Wir waren 2 Frauen, hatten 2 große Koffer und 2 Reisetaschen dabei, die wir allein bis zur Rezeption rollten. Keiner in dem 5-Sterne-Hotel bot uns Hilfe mit dem Gepäck an, nicht mal an der Rezeption wurden wir gefragt, ob jemand uns das Gepäck ins Zimmer bringen soll. Unglaublich!

The hotel has plenty of parking which is great the service from staff was excellent they couldn’t do enough for you there is so many different options for eating in the hotel with prices that are reasonable for where you are there was only one thing that I was angry about was there was a charity ball event on and we had to go up in the lift walk a while through the hotel take another lift down and then walk through the hotel again to get to our room I have heart problems and I would have preferred if we had been told about the charity ball being on and I would have booked for the week later

This was exactly what one would expect in a five star hotel....the rooms are handsomely appointed and supremely comfortable. The staff was amazing....helpful, informative and kind. We loved our stay, the town is walkable from the hotel and our room looked right out at the Old Course....and the North Sea beyond....simply magical.

Fantastic experience- highly recommend
We loved our stay. The room was clean and spacious and the turn down service was a lovely touch. The evening meal, Swilcan, was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection! The bed was huge and so comfortable. The spa was phenomenal- we loved the thermal suite. Again, the breakfast was also fantastic- wonderful variety and spectacular views. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic stay- incredibly welcoming staff, varied and high quality offering across the hotel, great pool and spa. The food could have been better (both room service and breakfast) but overall a great experience.
