Welcoming
Lovely and quiet neighborhood close to several grocery stores. Bus stop is close but we usually walked into the heart of the town for sightseeing and errands. I was with my son starting at university. We took a taxi to the residence hall on the day he moved in.

home from home in St Andrews
Very comfortable, clean holiday home with 2 supermarkets nearby and within walking distance of town centre. Private back garden was a bonus. Unfortunately only 1 dessert spoon supplied and grill tray had not been washed since last used but these are minor issues.

Hope to visit again. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and very close to a grocery store. It is more than a mile out if town, so be prepared for a 15-20 minute walk to the town center. There are very convinient bus stops for buses around town and even to Dundee. The owner was super responsive to communications.

Perfect for two couples
We came to St. Andrews to celebrate a special occasion. We had a car but the residence is within a 5 min walk to a grocery store, 25 mins to the high street and 35 mins to the Old Course. It has a lovely garden that we enjoyed. Very clean and our host was quick to respond to any questions.

Lovely comfortable house
We enjoyed a quiet 4 day stay here and were very pleased with the high standard of accommodation. On a couple of occasions we even managed a meal and drinks in the patio area which was very pleasant. The house itself is situated a 15 minute walk into the town but just around the corner is a large Morrisons store, an Aldi and Marks & Spencer food hall. Alan the owner was very easy to contact and couldn't have been more helpful.

Clean and comfortable in a quiet location.
A few days visiting our son at university and exploring the area. This house was very conveniently placed and has clearly been refurbished recently to a high standard. The place is well equipped and the beds are huge and very comfortable. The house is in a residential street on the outskirts of St Andrews but still only about a mile from the town centre. There are at least two supermarkets close by and a bus service into the centre if needed. Unfortunately the weather was fairly poor when we were there but we still got out and enjoyed some of the surrounding countryside and coastline. As our son has only just started at university I've a feeling we'll be back!

Exellent home in St Andrews!
Stayed 3 nights, owner communication for access and how things work went very well. Simple instructions and easy to follow. Great location in a quiet neighborhood an easy 3-5 min walk to the grocery store and gas station. We were there to play golf and it was maybe 10 minutes drive. Very comfortable place for our family of 4. Lots of storage in the downstairs closet area for 4 sets of golf clubs etc.. We left something behind and the owner could not have been nicer in getting our item back to us! He went above and beyond and it was much appreciated!

Very comfortable property...ideal as a base in St Andrews.
We had booked this property for a few days for my son’s graduation. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a small party. The beds were very comfortable and the owner was very helpful in advance of our visit checking what configuration of beds we would prefer and providing information about the town.

Clean and tidy
The property was immaculate throughout. All of the appliances, including the central heating/ hot water worked perfectly - just as the owner's clear instructions outlined before our arrival. The beds were superb. The property has a driveway for off street parking, really handy. The property is within a pleasant, wooded residential area, and within a 10 minute walk to the botanical gardens. A large supermarket is only a 5 minute walk away, as are local bus stops. We enjoyed our short break in Saint Andrews, and our accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable.
