Umwerfendes Zimmer im Zentrum von Split
Nachdem wir zunächst am falschen von zwei Standorten ankamen, hat eine überaus freundliche und engagierte Dame vom Hotel uns zum richtigen Standort geführt (der nur ein paar Schritte entfernt war) und uns dort unser wahnsinnig schönes Zimmer vorgeführt. Damit aber noch nicht genug: Anschliessend hat sie uns noch zu unserem Auto begleitet, um uns persönlich auf dem Beifahrersitz den Weg zum Hoteleigenen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage zu weisen. Bei dieser Gelegenheit gab es gleich noch eine kleine Stadtführung. So viel persönlichen Einsatz erlebt man selten, alle Daumen hoch!

Almost perfect!
An almost over-all wonderful experience right in the center of Zagreb. Extremely friendly und helpful staff. Wonderful rooms with modern baths. Great style. Good breakfast. Only two privations: The Hotel has NO parking. You need to park in a distant garage and will be picked up by am member of the hotel staff. You will have to walk 10 min. to the hotel. Was nothing important for me, but maybe for others. Second: In my room I could hear EVERY single word and other noise coming from the room above. It's definitely a failure of the architect. So if you have silent people above you, like I had, you are lucky. If not, you will have severe acoustic problems in this hotel – at least in the room I had.

Hello, thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. The reason our hotel doesn't have a parking garage at the hotel is because we are situated in a pedestrian zone, on the main town square. We have a garage 5 minutes from the hotel, at the closest point possible reachable by car and we come and help guests with the luggage. We truly hope you have enjoyed your stay regardless of that and hope to have you again as our guest if you come back in Split. We wish you all the best!

Toll gelegen, Preis/Leistung unausgewogen
Sehr positiv: die Nähe zum famosen Diokletian-Palast. Das wars auch schon. Völlig unausgewogenes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: Bei weit über 200€/Nacht fehlt Info zu ca. 8 Treppen ins 5.OG angeblich UNESCO-bedingt ohne Fahrstuhl (bei Kniebeschädigung Zumutung!) unterm Spitzdach (Helmpflicht für Großgewachsene u. Schlaftrunkene) - das nahe etwa gleichpreisige ebenfalls historische Marmont Hotel hat Fahrstuhl ; "Blick in Altstadt/Splits Hauptplatz" allenfalls für lange Teleskophälse, sonst Hinterhofcharakter. Zimmer u. Bad sehr sauber, Einrichtung neu, adrett. "Eigener Parkplatz" war öffent. Parkhaus am Altstadtrand, ok, aber Abholung und Hinbringen zu Fuß statt ortsüblicher Elektrokarren ("zu teuer"- so sollte man mit Gästen bei diesen Preisen nicht umgehen!).

Dear Uwe, we want to thank you for staying with us and we hope you enjoyed your time in Split. We are sad to hear that you didn't like some things about our hotel, so we are happy to explain you why are some things like that. Regarding the floors, our hotel has 3 floors, not 5 and it says on our site that we don't have an elevator, if it makes a problem for anyone. We are not allowed to have an elevator since our building is one of the oldest ones in Split and protected by UNESCO and therefore, we can't be in the same comparison with hotel Marmont, which is not in a historical protected building. Regarding the parking, it is also really visibly listed on our website that we are situated on the main square, which is a pedestrian zone only and not reachable by car. We have several private parking spots inside a public garage at the closest point possible to the hotel, only couple of minutes from it. That is why we meet our guests at the parking garage and carry their bags to the hotel. We have really did our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible and we truly hope to have you as our guest again. All the best, Villa Split team

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt in der Altstadt, in einer alten Villa, alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Gesondert zu erwähnen ist das Hotel-Team, das uns in allen Fragen des Aufenthalts hervorragend betreut hat. Gemessen an der Tatsache, dass das Hotel nur 3 Zimmer hat, d.h. maximum für 6 Gäste vorgesehen ist, war das Frühstücksbüffet sehr üppig und wurde ständig aufgefüllt. Die Zimmerfenster gehen zum kleinen Hof hinaus, daher ist es trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig.

Beautiful hotel directly located in the Old City. You can not dirve direct to the hotel as cars are not allowed in the Old City. However, a quick call to the hotel and they make all of the parking arrangements or will pick up from a drop off - very accommodating. The hotel is very boutique style and very charming. Highly recommend!

Excellent service at boutique in heart of Split
This is a six-room boutique, with a modern update featuring some original wood and stonework. The airport transfer and advice from the front desk were top notch. The morning breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was a quiet 6-room property with exeptionally good service. The location was perfect and everything was easy to reach. Not suitable to people with disabilities (no lift) and maybe not for small children but very suitable for couples who want a city holiday.

Yvonne was an absolute delight! We stayed here twice on our trip because we loved it so much. Location is great, hotel room is large by European standards. We ended up having a flight delay and she was able to get us a last minute accommodation for the night. Breakfast was really good. We will be back!

Everything about this property is top notch. We loved being inside the walls of the palace and the unit we were provided was clean and full of charm. We highly recommend this property. One warning though…….do not book any private tours through the hotel. They extract a hefty booking fee that is not appropriate relative to what the guide is actually paid. That being said, the guide we were provided was excellent!

My husband and I loved this property! The service was excellent, the room was great, and you couldn’t beat the location. It’s right in the middle of everything. Parking is the only thing that was a little difficult but even that wasn’t too bad. Breakfast in the morning was a real treat and included as well. Would definitely recommend!

Located right inside the 3rd century Dioclesian Palace, this quaint, historic and charming tiny hotel was a fun place to stay during our visit to Split, Croatia. The staff were most accommodating, and although elevators are not allowed in this UNESCO location, there was always help available if needed.

Loved the convenient location of this property. The staff (especially Marianna (sp?) was so helpful with recommendations. We weren’t able to make breakfast both mornings we were there and they made us take away breakfast. The only down side is the noise but it can’t be helped when you are staying in the city. Grab some ear plugs :) Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

This hotel was in an excellent location. The staff could not do enough for you. They were all so helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and an added bonus of being able to help yourself to coffee and snacks throughout the day. It was a wonderful place and i can not praise it enough. If i return to Split i will be back

The room was terrific! Even though it was in the old city everything was updated. The breakfast was amazing and being able to walk out of your room and be in the old city was fabulous. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Mariana even met us at the parking garage and escorted us to the hotel. She told us interesting facts about the city and places to see. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It couldn't have been better.

Amazing all around! Pristine condition. Located at the heart of the Docletian palace. Very friendly personnel. Nice little inside garden for breakfast (which is included and plentiful) or just having a rest. One of the highlights of our trip to Croatia.

Incredible service, lovely rooms, great location!
The service from the entire team was above and beyond! We were met at the parking garage, escorted to the hotel (short walk from parking). Lovre provide great recommendations for restaurants in the area and he was spot on! Breakfast was delicious, again, service was spectacular. Ivona assisted us with our departure details to the ferry and made sure we had assistance getting our luggage back to the parking garage. Incredibly friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and spacious. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to all major sites, restaurants, and waterfront. The only negative would be there is not an elevator, if you have trouble with stairs that is a consideration, although the hotel is small, so it’s still very manageable & the hotel staff helps with luggage coming and going. Great job, you truly were a memorable part of our stay in Split. Highly recommend!!
