„wir hatten zu viert ein Zimmer mit zwei Bette bestellt und als wir reinkamen, waren die Bette so klein, dass jemand auf dem Couch schlafen musste. Uns wurde versprochen, dass die Bette beide Queen-Beds waren... und Room-service mussten wir immer selbst bestellen, es ist leider nicht der Norm, dass sie es selber machen.“

„We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you.“

„This is definitely a work in progress. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet for the most part and the staff was very friendly. It's clear a family has taken on the job of restoring this property to a new, beautiful standard. I was pleased with the location, the price and our room. The elevator is a little scary at the moment, but I'm sure it will be fixed. I look forward to seeing it fully restored.“

„Mary Lou was so nice to chat with, and very helpful. Sharing with us the history of the home was so fun. Such a kind soul. The peace and quiet was so nice. Discovering the history of the home was so fun! Why are there no fireplaces?!? Basement? Crawl space? See what you can find. Play records on the…well, what is it? Victorola? Hmm But be respectful, put everything back as you found it, so others can enjoy it as we have.“
