„We chose this place for our first trip to the Cape. We only planned to stay for two nights but luckily we were able to extend our stay there. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious - and we love the garden! Breakfast was amazing, it was absolutely no problem to get a vegetarian option - thankfully the weather in June was good enough to enjoy it on the patio. Amy and her staff were always very friendly and helpful - which make this inn a wonderful place to stay! “

„War nur kurz da, 1 Nacht. Eine Freundin, die öfter auf der Insel war und teilweise dort lebte, schwärmt vom Schwimmbad, Wellness, etc. aber ich hatte keine Zeit. Die s/w-Fotos an den Wänden waren faszinierend. Das Frühstücksangebot war für mein Empfinden wirklich sehr gut.“

„Verschachteltes, süßes typisches Cape Cod-Holzhaus. Alle 18 Zimmer individuell und sehr liebevoll ausgestattet und dekoriert. Mehrere schöne kleine Innenhöfe mit Sitzecken, Brunnen, Skulpturen etc. Hatte das Henry David Thoreau-Gartenhäuschen mit eigener Terrasse. Alles prima. Das Team ist total nett und hat offensichtlich Spaß bei der Arbeit. Frühstück inbegriffen und absolut köstlich: Sophia und KollegInnen verwöhnen die Gäste auch zwischendurch und abends nach dem Wein mit Selbstgebackenem. ...

„Very nice and historic hotel distributed across various houses. Very friendly staff. Pictures on Hotels.com do not exactly match the actual rooms. E.g., although shown on the photo we could not see the sea from the bed. Bathrooms are very old and not appropriate for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was Ok, dinner very nice. View from the restaurant was outstanding. On the last day the nice room was closed so that the breakfast had to be taken in a small backward looking room. Prices are very high.“

Breakfast below average: tables not properly cleaned, plastic cups and paper plates, low quality continental breakfast buffet, no service from grumpy staff as you have to order and pick up your hot breakfast from the kitchen yourself (you get a pager). Absolutely no value for money.“
