„Spent 2 nights at St.Georges purely to go shopping at Gun Wharf. Accommendation is only a 3 minute walk away so is perfect for what we wanted. The accommendation was extremely clean and had everything we needed, there was spare shampoo and had tea/coffee/ biscuits and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge which was a lovely gesture. „We had another apartment booked, but 4 days before our holiday it became unavailable due to maintenance issues so we had alternative accommodation offered. On arrival there was beer bottles and rubbish all over the car park entrance. For 3 people in 2 bedrooms we had 1 coat hanger, we had iron but not ironing board, not hot water between 6pm and 8pm sometimes up to 9pm (probably used out by others in the building). „The apartment was satisfactory, was in a great location and our stay was quiet and event free. The only downside was the smell in the entire unit, of sewer gas, especially in the bathroom. Also, a light was burnt out in the bathroom, making it very dark. Otherwise, it was good for a night or two but probably not much longer.“

„The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.“

„I arrived at 8pm to find out there was a problem with my room's door lock and the door wouldn't close. I was ready to start trawling hotels for a last minute room but the lovely lady who acts as agent for the owner, pointed out to the owner that the main house, which sits in the same plot, was available for a couple of days, and so they gave me a large family house for a couple of days. I stay in Waterlooville regularly for business and will definitely stay again. “
