Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp sehr gut
Das Hotel hat eine Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer,sehr schön, leider ist das Frühstück im keller ohne Fenster aber es war gut, es gab frisches Obst, was nicht überall selbstverständlich ist Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet Der STrand liegt direkt hinter dem Hotel, ist aber ein sehr kleiner Abschnitt, hat mir jetzt überhaupt nicht gefallen

Für 1-2 Nächte ist das Hotel OK
Positiv: Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr Hilfsbereit . Lage ist gut 10min zu Fuss bis zum Zentrum. Hotel ist klein aber Gut. Negativ: Leider war unser Zimmer nicht t sauber. (das gute wahr wo wir das Personal Informiert haben, haben sie uns sofort ein neues Zimmer gegeben)

Sehr kleine Zimmer, keineswegs Familienzimmer!
Lage am alten malerischen Hafen, aber Die meisten Zimmer blicken auf die Strasse auf der Rückseite oder ein Gebäude davor, also keineswegs Meerblick. Hotel modern und sauber, aber Zimmer sehr klein, sind als DZ vielleicht OK, aber niemals als Famileinzimmer bzw. Vierbettzimmer! Frühstück geht in Ordnung, Abgeschlossener Parkplatz (im Freien) kostet 15€ extra/Tag, man muss jedesmal an der Rezeption den Schlüssel dazu holen!

Super-Service und gute Lage
Mittelgroßes Hotel, das nur Frühstück anbietet. Dieses ist jedoch kein Manko, weil in unmittelbarer Nähe eine große Anzahl an Restaurants vorzufinden ist. Das Hotel ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und wurde peinlich sauber gehalten. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Hotel ist im malerischen Ortsteil Marina Grande gelegen und ca. 70 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Da sich der Ort Sorrent vorwiegend auf einem Plateau befindet, ist dieser unter Überwindung von Treppen zu erreichen. Der Fußweg dauert je nach Ziel ca. 15 – 25 Minuten. Am Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle der Linie D, die vom Bahnhof/Busbahnhof des Ortes Sorrent führt. Der Bus verkehrt etwa stündlich und kostet 1,20 Euro. Ausflüge startet man sinnvollerweise vom Busbahnhof oder vom Hafen, den man entweder zu Fuß (25 – 30 Minuten) oder mit dem Bus über die Umsteigestelle Busbahnhof erreicht. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und servicebereit; die Räume sind sämtlich sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Hotel bietet lediglich Frühstück an, das jedoch kaum Wünsche offen lässt. Im Hotel befindet sich eine Bar, die Getränke zu günstigen Preisen anbietet. Getränke werden auch zur Dachterrasse geliefert, von der man einen schönen Ausblick auf den Golf von Neapel und den Vesuv hat. Die Zimmer sind mittelgroß und praktisch eingerichtet. Wir haben diese Buchung nicht bereut.

schlechte Zimmerausrichtung, hellhörig und nicht weiter zu empfehlen
Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig; ein englische Reisegruppe hat mich nicht schlafen lassen; ab 5 Uhr war die Nacht vorbei (bedingt durch die führe Abreise der Gruppe). Das Zimmer war zu einem häßlichen Hinterhof gelegen. Meiner Bitte, mir eine Alternative zu geben, wurde nicht entsprochen. Ich hätte gern mein Geld zurück!

A great little gem 3 minutes from the beach/marina. Several fresh seafood restaurants around the area. The beds were clean/comfortable, the rooms were clean, the hotel staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and they were very very helpful.

Hotel Del Mare is very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping areas. The roof deck is amazing at sunset. The breakfast room is lined in stone and gives a grotto feel. Food is good too. Staff are very accommodating.

My family and I just had a 5 night stay at Hotel del Mare in October 2023. We can not say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff in all areas were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless. The hotel breakfast was fresh and delicious. The surrounding area is full of shopping just a 10 minute walk away and only a 2 minute walk to the water where there is many delicious restaurants and bar. 10/10 recommended!!! Ariel G

It’s fine, but disappointing. The staff is not gonna go out if their way to help. We were jaded because we stayed a night somewhere else for less and it was way better. Stay somewhere else if you can.

Our stay here was wonderful. We had beautiful views of Mount Vesuvius from our window. The staff were amazing and so helpful with anything at all. I have never stayed at a place before where the staff were so accommodating. There is a lovely rooftop to enjoy an aperitif in the evening. I would definitely stay here again.

As an American coming over to Italy for my first time was nervous but after check in everything g went smoothly there where a lot of other Americans staying there 10 minute walk to sorrento but on the shore behind hotel was cute and nice places to eat the room itself was small but as expected everything was clean bathroom had faint smell but for the price was everything we needed also breakfast was great !

The staff of this property were very nice and friendly. The location was about a 20 minute walk to the marina where you catch the ferries and about a 10 minute walk to restaurants, so location was great. The cons of this place would be how small the room was! Pictures made the room look small but with luggage there wasn’t much space to turn around so it felt very cramped for 2 people. Breakfast selection was average but can’t complain. Another issue was that in the Expedia listing said there was a 24 hour airport shuttle, when I reached out months in advance to reverse a spot I was told it can be handled once I checked in but once I checked in I was told all private transfers need to be booked well ahead of 72 hours and the usual private transfer company was on vacation, so I had to figure out a way to get to the airport on my own which was very stressful.

Great Staff, Very Loud Hotel
The staff were excellent! Very kind and helpful. Nice location by the water, but showing a lot of signs of being worn down. And it was SO loud. All of the floors are tile so it’s like an echo chamber. We were woken up repeatedly by doors closing, suitcases banging, shoes on the stairs. The person across the hall had a cough and we could literally hear them all night. That’s an indication of the thin walls and volume of the echoes; when you can hear across the hall every time someone coughs or flushes their toilet. If any of the rooms turned on the shower near us it sounded like it was in our room with us. Would maybe stay again, but would also look around at other places too.

Hotel Del Mare - September 2023
Location was perfect - right on the bay next to several fun restaurants with easy access to the train station shuttle. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Originally had a room facing the hillside but were upgraded complimentary upon arrival to a water view which was lovely. Would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is a great hotel right on the water. Very clean and modern. Breakfast had a variety of food. Perfect for walking into Sorrento or over to Marina Picolo. The only negative was the hard bed. It was not very comfortable at all.

Very nice spacious room. Bathroom had everything I need although the shower stall is very small. Bed was comfortable and the refrigerator was spacious. The room was quite and a 2-3 minute walk to beach and restaurants. The staff was helpful and the night clerk/bartender was very good and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Easy to catch the bus from the beach as well. I would come back to this place.

el hotel estaba cerca de la playa y de muchos restaurantes incluyendo de mariscos, subiendo unas escaleras que estan cerca ouedes ver las maravillosa vista de sorrento donde se ve el volcan vesubio y toda la espectacular costa, el desayuno muy bueno el personal y las habitaciones muy bien , dese la terraza puedes ver la vista y relajarte con un buen vino lo recomiendo, volveria de nuevo a este hotel si tengo la oportunidad de regresar a este bello paraiso

Great little spot while in Sorrento! The walk to the main plaza is a bit intense if you're on the older side and not as fit. But overall great. Only feedback for the hotel would be to invest in white towels. They have blue towels that can't be washed with Clorox so all of our towels smelled like mildew after we used them. My family also stayed in another room and experienced the same thing with the towels. Hopefully the hotel changed to white towels to avoid the smell in the future

Sadly this hotel didn’t meet expectations. I say this because for £300 a night you can book the hotel around the corner with a pool and incredible sea view room was £250. There are images attached to show the disrepair. But also our room was next to the lift and it was incredibly noisy. They didn’t even have fruit juice behind the bar for our toddler. We complained and were offered a room with a window that faced the sea but it still wasn’t worth it. The staff were helpful enough though. Real shame we had to upheave ourselves and change hotels at our expense.

The price for your room (a four bedded room on a weekend of the busiest period of the season) is adequate to the market rates according to the period in which you booked the room in May. It is of course possible that other accommodation can have a lower pricing depending on the empty rooms they have left for that particular day. Considering that our website is very accurate in descriptions and pictures of our rooms, we are positive that there is no missrepresentation and when people book they are aware of the price they pay and the accommodation they book.We have also offered you our best room, as an alternative, at no extra cost, but you declined it. Unfortunately, at that moment we did not have any fruit juice available, but only soft drinks.
