„The house itself was good equipped and lovely decorated. We enjoyed the front porch and the short walk to the surrounding restaurants and businesses. Everything is in walking distance. Only two things should be considered booking the house. The 3rd bed is a rather short sofa, not really suitable for adults. The second thing is the traffic noise. You shouldn’t be a light sleeper. „CLEAN ROOMS. “

„It was a cute cottage. The neighborhood is run down though. It’s surrounded by trailers that are all rusty. The door knob to the bathroom broke while we were there and we got locked in a couple times which was scary. The hot tub needed maintenance and the fire pit didn’t work. The house could use some updates and a new couch but it did its job. It was fun. I had a good time in Ohio. I’m a New Yorker it was a nice weekend trip. “

„Stayed here one night in February (2026) and it was such a cool spot. This home is perfect location, only 10 minute drive from all the best hiking spots. The home is right around the corner from The Home Tavern and downtown area. The sauna/cold plunge was awesome. We will 100% be staying here again!!“

„The host was great proving access information electronically. The house was furnished beautifully with a very large living room, dining room and another large round table that could easily sit 6. I can see this place being used by a large family with the size of the living space. Wonderful place to stay. I will be back.“

„Hot tub is wonderful, although we didn’t use it due to being so busy fishing. The property is pet friendly. There is plenty of stuff to do around the home. The lake is not far. There is a good pizza place and some stores within 5 minutes of the place. There is plenty of supplies there at the home also. They keep it very equipped with dishes, cooking materials, and towels. I would come back.“

„We stayed here with another couple and we all loved it! Spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. The layout is unique. The hot tub was huge and love that it is covered. We enjoyed the hot tub during a rain storm. The weather didn’t cooperate but we would have loved to utilize the fire pit. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this place. There was nothing we were disappointed with. “

Wonderful positive surprises (did not pick up fully in the listing) included the gas powered fireplaces (there are two!) and cozy, private garden patio in back. One item I missed on the listing was that there was only one Bath/shower and it was on the main floor - not where the bedrooms are located - that said, the water was hot and there were plenty of cushy towels!
