„Our room had a nice 4-poster-bed. Our companion was upgraded from single to double room. The hotel is located in a zone that cannot normally be accessed by cars, but in the evening ist was still possible for unloading. There is parking available near the hotel at additional cost. The breakfast (continental style) was nice and rich, the staff competent and friendly. We would come back.“

„Die kleinen DZ waren wirklich sehr klein -kaum, dass man sich darin bewegen konnte. Die Bäder klein wie im Wohnmobil. Das Frühstück war sehr kritikwürdig: die wenigen Komponenten, die es gab, waren alle einzeln eingepackt. Manches (z.B. ein Ei) bekam man erst auf Nachfrage. Kaffee und Tee wurden schon fertig (mit Milch) serviert, erst auf Nachfrage nachgeschenkt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passte nicht!“

„This hotel is located superbly close to the inner city of Canterbury. You are literally a one minute walk away from the pedestrian zone. It is a little bit hard to find, but the staff is nice. The only problem is that there are no (free) parking spaces around. We were contacted a few days via e-mail before our stay by the hotel, which can provide you with a discount for one of the pay-parking lots.“

The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. „Wer die traditionelle englische Bauweise von Fußböden und Türen uber elektrische Ausstattung und Badeinricjlhtung schätzt findet hier ein inmitten der Natur und dennoch wenige Autominuten von Canterbury gelegenes Haus, welches sich auxh für ein gelegentliches Abendessen eignet, während das Frühstück zwar inklusive ist, aber Alternativen im Zentrum von Canterbury qualitativ eher. vorzuziehen wären.“

„Die Unterkunft liegt zusammen mit einem Pub am Ortsrand. Die Zimmer sind ca 50m versetzt von der Strasse hinter dem Pub, sodass kein Lärm störte. Das Wohnhaus ist sehr hellhörig, wir hörten bis spät in die Nacht andere rücksichtslose Gäste. Das ist aber eher ein Problem der Gäste, und nicht der Unterkunft. Der Checkin findet im Pub statt, und war super freundlich. Auch die anderen Mitarbeiter im Pub waren sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und extrem freundlich. Wir bekamen sogar einen kleinen ...
