„The ski/ski out location is perfect and on a very easy green so accessible to all skill levels. Highlights of the house include comfortable beds, a great hot tub on the deck and a very well stocked kitchen. It’s worth being aware that the house can be drafty and there’s not really a mud room for gear storage and getting ready to ski. All in all, this is a great place to enjoy a ski vacation.“

„This is a very well maintained property in a perfect location. Only a few minutes walking distance to the slopes & the village, and sporting great views over the mountain ranges to the west. Everything is clean and functional, and the owners are quick to respond to any requests. They even left a nice stack of firewood in the garage, and a basket with goodies (including home-roasted coffee beans) for us to enjoy. „Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable. „The property and location were great for day and night skiing at Silver Creek. Catching the free campus bus around the mountain was a piece of cake from this location. couldn't have been much easier. The bunk bed room in the basement was a huge hit with the children and the place was excellent for multiple families to hang out and enjoy their time on the mountain. The house is also located about a 2 minute walk to the ski slope which was a huge plus. Also you can’t beat the view of the sunset on the front porch. „My family enjoyed the stay. The first bed room is very good size. The 2nd one is bit small, no closet. It is very clean. We stayed there comfortably. It may need few more pieces of eating utensils. We stayed the first week of March. The snow was melting. It was good to have a swimming pool and hot tub.“
