„We were lucky enough to be able to book this beautiful restored home on the weekend of the eclipse. It's spacious—each of us had our own room—and quaint. Everywhere you turned, the details take you back to the turn of last century. We might have liked to have a stove, but the microwave and hot plate are sufficient. „The old house was charming. It could benefit from a really good, deep clean. The bathrooms and beds/linens were very clean and the kitchen was functional. We didn't use the outdoor area but it was nice and well suited to a comfortable place to hang out on a nice day. The town has food and necessity shopping available and easily accessible. Overall we were pleased with our overnight stay. “

Myself and two friends were there to birdwatch for several days in the area (Mingo Wildlife Refuge and Otter Slough State Conservation Area).“

„We traveled to Advance for a long weekend to view the total solar eclipse. Host provided excellent instructions for arrival. Every room was as described. Nice decor - including vintage duck decoys. Grocery shopping was nearby. We had a delicious meal and delicious drinks at El Mexicano restaurant. There were Subway and McDonald’s fast food options nearby as well.“
