Sidmouth Harbour Hotel

Hotel excellent, bar and bar staff excellent, breakfast excellent, evening meal very disappointing. Everything about the Hotel was excellent with the exception of the evening meal. No complimentary bread was offered though other guests were receiving some. The starter course of Asparagus with Scotch egg flaunted the trade description act, 3 pieces of Asparagus and at best 1/8th of a piece of scotch egg was very underwhelming. Main course of Fish and Chips with 3 times cooked chips just meant that the chips were full of oil and the Fish was overdone resulting in more batter than fish. Would go back but probably eat out for our evening meal.
