Spend your days exploring the area, there’s attractions for all ages including the historic Ironbridge and Blists Hill Victorian Town, RAF Museum Midlands, Telford Ice Rink, and Wonderland theme park. Or some of the characterful towns and villages nearby, such as Shrewsbury or Market Drayton. Or simply put your feet up in the large garden for a snooze on the garden furniture and have a dip in the hot tub. Enjoy a BBQ on the decking and let the children and your furry friends roam freely. Step inside and you’ll find that the house has been furnished in a contemporary style but in keeping with its character with exposed beams and many original fireplaces throughout. It immediately feels warm and welcoming. The large hallway has plenty of room for storing coats and boots and provides a cosy space for a dog’s bed if you’re bringing any four-legged friends with you. There’s a large open-plan kitchen with all the appliances you’ll need to whip up all the family favourites and a spacious separate formal dining room with a beautiful fireplace and plenty of room for everyone around the stone table. In the evenings, sit back and relax in the conservatory/living room with its Smart TV including Netflix, and enjoy a cocktail before dinner in the lovely lounge area which has double doors leading out onto the garden. This is a peaceful countryside escape, well away from the hustle and bustle. You’ll also find a toilet and a utility room downstairs. Move upstairs to find all the bedrooms, three doubles, one with an ensuite and the other two sharing a jack and jill bathroom. There is also a single bedroom on the top floor. All offer a comfortable night’s sleep and views of the countryside.

There’s plenty to do in the area, from exploring the great outdoors to discovering the rich local history. You’ll also have access to plenty of walks right from the doorstep. If you’re looking to pick up the pace a bit, why not book a flying lesson or a skydive, only minutes away at Shifnal airfield? Or within driving distance are the popular historical towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, and Ludlow, as well as the Wroxeter Roman City, the Severn Valley Railway, the RAF Cosford Museum, and many National Trust properties.
