Top Hotel - Top Lage
Freundlicher Empfang, speditiver Checkin/Checkout. Sehr gute Lage, nahe Metro Peoples Square. Geräumiges Zimmer, sehr gerbequemes Bett, hervorragendes WiFi, sehr gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet.

Ich verbrachte insgesamt 6 Nächte im Hotel. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sprachen verständliches Englisch und waren äußerst bemüht. Mein Zimmer (2529) war sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ließ sich sehr einfach über einen kleinen Regler bedienen und sorgte somit für eine angenehme Temperatur. Darüber hinaus konnte man ruhig schlafen, denn die Schallisolierung der Fenster war optimal. Bezüglich des Housekeepings muss ich sagen, dass die Putzkräfte wirklich sehr gute Arbeit geleistet haben, denn das Zimmer war immer ordentlich aufgeräumt und sauber. Das WLAN im Hotel ist inkludiert und sorgt für eine ultraschnelle Internetverbindung, beispielsweise war der Videochat über FaceTime nach Deutschland tadellos möglich. Das Frühstücksbuffet (im 3. Stock) war ausgiebig und man konnte zwischen einen asiatischen und kontinentalen Frühstücksbuffet wählen. Beides war hervorragend. Ferner hat das Hotel einen frisch renovierten Fitnessraum und einen großen Swimming-Pool. Der Pool war insbesondere am späten Abend nicht stark frequentiert und so hatte ich den Pool beinahe für mich allein. Allerdings gab es einen Punkt, der mich am Hotel störte und das waren die Aufzüge. Leider musste man sehr lange warten, bis ein Aufzug im Stockwerk ankam. Das ist aber auch das einzig Negative, was ich berichten kann.

Urlaub in China, tolles Land
Gleich beim Check in hat man versucht uns ein Kostenpflichtiges Upgrade unterzujubeln und zudem Mehrkosten für die Nutzung einer Executive Lounge für unser Kind eingefordert. Wir hatten für 2 erwachsene und 1 Kind gebucht insofern waren wir erstaunt, dass man nun Zusatzkosten haben wollte. Warum unser Lind nun Zusatzkosten für eine Executive Lounge in unsrem Urlaub hervorrufen sollte war uns nicht klar. Wir haben das abgelehnt.

Room is good and generally speaking, the staff are very helpful. However, they don’t have many choices for in room dinning and breakfast. The Chinese restaurant Man Bao Lou is the first and also last time that we would go…it took ages for them to prepare food. We ordered 6 dishes at Man Bao Lou and they took 2 hours to prepare. Very inefficient.

The hotel's many options for breakfast (buffet). I was able to enjoy both Chinese style and Western style, and the menu was abundant and good. There is People's Square and pedestrian mall nearby, so I think this hotel is suitable for sightseeing purposes.
