Gutes Hotel mit schöner Dachterrassen- Fernsicht
Großzügige Eingangshalle. Checkin und Checkout ging schnell. Gratis Kofferaufbewahrung am Abreisetag. Englischkenntnisse sind an der Rezeption und im Speisesaal ausreichend. Aufzüge sind genügend vorhanden, kaum Wartezeiten. Die U-Bahnlinie 1 (Rote Linie) Haltestelle "Shanxi Road" st ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Das U Bahnnetz ist gut ausgebaut und man kommt zügig überall hin wo man möchte. Die Linie 13 ist direkt gegenüber dem Hotel, aber mit der Linie 13 muss man unterirdisch lange Wege gehen. Die U-Bahnen in Shanghai sind sehr gepflegt und machen einen sehr sicheren Eindruck. Mit der Linie 2 (blau) kann man bis zum Flughafen Pudong fahren. Alle Haltestellen und Straßen sind in Englisch angeschrieben, deshalb findet man sich in dieser schönen Metropole schnell zurecht. Sehr zu empfehlen ist Fotos vom Hotel und den Sehenswürdigkeiten mitzunehmen, dann kann man jeden nach dem Weg fragen. Wir haben Shanghai als sehr freundliche und weltoffene Stadt kennengelernt. Das Wolkenkratzerviertel Pudong ist echt gigantisch. Auch die Uferpromenade "Bund" hat uns sehr gefallen. Eine Schifffahrt ist sehr empfehlenswert. An trüben Tagen merkt man schon etwas vom Smog. Atemwegs -Empfindliche sollten eventuell einen Mundschutz mitnehmen. Wir hatten aber auch einen Tag mit strahlend blauem Himmel und guter Luft.

Not the newest hotel but nice and clean. The only problem was that the personal don’t speak so good English or don’t speak it at all. Sometimes it was very hard to get some information. The staff isn’t so friendly.

The location is excellent and overall the hotel is good. There are a few things could be improved. We stayed for 2 weeks and did get bored for the same/similar breakfast everyday. We have been to many hotels worldwide, but this is the only one does not have a sitting area in the large reception area.

We tried a special tea provided by the hotel. The next day when we came back, we found two such teabags with a note from the cleaning lady: I noticed that you like this tea, so I left two here. If you like to have more, please let me know. What a lovely note!

Stayed in Shanghai many times over the years and in different hotels. The Jin Jiang has definitely been the best for both location / convenience and overall hotel experience. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommended.

For the price, experice is ok!
Over is ok for the price. Service was just ok. When we arrived to our room there was mildew smell. Housekeeping came and sprayer freshener and was fine. Fixtures are dated and old. They have a revolving restaurant. Food is expensive. Views are spectacular! Service its not up to standard for the prices they want to charge. There are other options out there.
