„We had a great stay! Back porch overlooking the lake was our go to spot for relaxing in the shade. Just a few minutes away from the Mercantile for breakfast and Villa Nova winery for a great evening for live music and enjoying the views. We definitely recommend this cabin if you’re looking to unwind and recharge. “

„The Woods Edge was the perfect getaway my brother and I were looking for. My dad is turning 84 and we wanted to give him a relaxing weekend in the high country. This place is accessible to everywhere…Boone and it’s great selection of restaurants, Banner Elk/Linville and it’s great waterfalls and hikes, Vilas and it’s perfect setting for eating ice cream at Mast by the stream. Super clean and comfortable. A big thank you to Cynthia and Olen for a great weekend!“

„The cottage was just as the pictures, super clean and so nice! We enjoyed spending lots of time on the deck taking in the amazing view! „Had a great stay at this very adorable cabin! It’s clean and so well decorated! Had such a quiet and peaceful stay! Only problem we had was the driveway. They had rock recently put down and my car couldn’t get up the driveway. Other than that it was an awesome cabin and we will definitely stay again!“

„We enjoyed the privacy and the property was well appointed. Some of the guidance docs were hard to follow but nothing that impacted our stay. If you’re going fishing, just walk around the gated complex of hatchery ponds to pick up the trail. It’s not obvious the first time. “

„We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning!“
