This property is beautiful. You can spend hours soaking in the gorgeous gardens and vast landscape. The room was more than comfortable. Owners and their gorgeous dog were more than expected.

Country charm, attention to detail, and great ambiance! This is a wonderful and beautifully appointed place to stay. Each room features a fireplace, sunken spa, great linen and products plus a selection of local wines and homemade cookies. French doors open out to a private garden with sweeping views of the Scone plains or relax on the lounge with the latest digital offerings. Breakfast is served in a sunlit dining area with huge lounges, a fireplace and port. Super clean and great hosts - we will be back!

Lovely comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation
Arrived late and did not realise it was so far out of town. Then had to drive back into town for dinner. The room was lovely, and the bed oh so comfortable. Had a lovely sleep and breakfast the next morning was and was ample. The gardens from the bedroom window were delightful.

Lovely accommodation in the Upper Hunter. The open fires in the room are a wonderful treat. It was such a blessing to escape the city and enjoy the natural surrounds of the countryside. A very quiet retreat.

Rooms are tastefully appointed, comfortable and very clean. Owners are friendly and very helpful. It is well placed for visiting the beautiful scenery and wineries of the Upper Hunter. Strongly recommended. Guests should note that the sign for the turn off into the property is quite hard to see at night, off a busy highway, so best to approach before dark.

How I wish we could stay longer.
This accommodation is absolutely stunning. The room was huge, a really home away from home. Situated outside of Scone, and up a gravel road, there is no highway noise. Each room has a door out to a private garden and you can easily walk further out into the larger garden areas. The continental breakfast was a perfect start to the day and there is some little treats in the room, along with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. My only complaint was the signage was a little hard to spot and we did have to really pay attention when were getting close to the driveway.

Although the property is only one lodge, all rooms are very private and accomodating. We were able to take our dog with us and enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. The hosts were great and ensured we were enjoying our stay. I would recommend Strathearn Lodge to any of my friends and family.

Wow! What a beautiful stay my partner and I were lucky enough to discover. This stay was the perfect place to escape from the city and get lost in country life with panoramic views of hourses, picturesque sweeping valley and emaculate well kept gardens to explore. The fireplace and indoor heated pool was the perfect way to warm up on a chilly winter's night. Could not recommend enough! We will be back!

I was meeting a friend for a night at a half way point. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived. Lynn took up to our room and showed us around. It was exactly what we needed. Great room, so spacious and had everything we needed. I loved the verandah, we were able to sit outside and chat over a cup of tea. Breakfast was great too. The property is away from the town which was the relaxing time out we needed. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to Stay near Scone
We overnighted here on the way from Sydney to the New England area, but would like to have stayed longer. The area was very pretty and the accommodation certainly far superior to a motel, with a large open plan room with lounge and spa bathroom. Continental breakfast was nice. Our only complaint is that the signage at night was very poor, and if it wasn't for Google maps I doubt we would have found it in the dark.
