Wonderful to have the outside shower to ride one or sand before going into the cottage. Grateful for the air condition units. “

„The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and in super condition, the bedrooms are great so everyone can enjoy some quiet time and privacy. Loads of beach gear provided, games as well. Location convenient to get to beach, shopping, mainland bridge, boat trips and eating out. Very much enjoyed the evening sun sitting on the swing on the front porch.“

„Perfect location and very comfortable house. We had three adults and a child with us and all had space so we weren’t crowded but still could gather for meals. The screened porch was lovely. Watching sunrises from the pier in the morning was beautiful and we even saw dolphins swim by.“

„The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean and well equipped! Our family live the nightly sunsets and sitting on the dock for morning coffee. Plenty of room for relaxing too. The neighbors are so friendly and sweet. “

„We booked this at the very last minute so we could clean out our father’s home (he passed the week before). It was perfect for our needs. One caution…the grass has tiny little burrs that stick to socks and flip flops. Nothing to do about them but if you have a dog, check their paws. We were even able to add an additional night easily when the clean out took longer than we expected. I would recommend!“

„We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. „The bay is directly in the backyard where you can see the sun set each evening from the house. There is a small beach that is sandy during low tide. If you want to wade in the bay, wear water shoes because there is glass that washes in from the bay. Mosquitoes are a problem, but it isn't just here. That's just the Eastern Shore in summer. If it is windy they aren't too bad if you use bug spray. But we didn't spend much time outside and didn't use the fire pit area, although it looked lovely.The ...
