„Was peaceful being away from the business of the resort areas to the north. No need to go north of the airport for groceries & supplies, plenty of options within a few minutes of the villas and those areas north like Super Food and Ling & Sons are complete madness with people & traffic. Rustic but lovely and tranquil. Glad we booked here.“

„This place was a home away from home. Simple and quaint!! Marie and John were wonderful host. They shared local favorites for restaurants and beaches. Told us where to snorkel with turtles and what were things we had to do while there. We suggest you rent a car as you are away from the tourist area but that is exactly what we wanted. The beach out front did not disappoint. You can still drive a short distance to get to all the hustle and bustle and the tourist attractions and then return back ...

„It was a nice hidden affordable gem just steps from the beach! the property was well maintained and the best part was it was close to a local bar (recommend getting the small chicharrones) a breakfast place right behind and a market 2 minutes away walking, Eagle beach is only 15 mins away by car.11/10 would stay here again. Highly recommend if you are looking for basic amenities and want to get away from the touristy area. Local are very nice.“

„A very relaxed and local feeling location with access to a number of good restaurants. Sitting in front of my apt i could watch families enjoy the ocean and a sunset every day. From shore snorkeling was fine and the area felt safe. “

„Room view was 100/10. However, the room only came with 1 towel a person for 4 days. The shower had standing water. We needed to checkout early and communication was difficult and we were not given check out instructions. Location is very out of the way of tourist spots if you’re looking for a local area. “

The communication with the host was challenging and did cause me concern as trying to get a response to my questions or concerns was difficult. But all in all it turned out Just fine. “
