Aptly named to reflect the wonderful seafront position, Swn Y Tonnau provides an ideal holiday setting for couples or small families.  Sitting in the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, sliding doors capture the spectacular views over Saundersfoot bay and it's picturesque harbour. Open them up and embrace the sound of the sea as you enjoy your morning coffee or relax on the balcony after a day of exploring, while watching the sun peacefully set over the ocean.

The apartment is centrally located on The Strand in Saundersfoot which is just minutes away from the lovely array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs that Saundersfoot has to offer. Stroll around the scenic working harbour, watching the boats as they come and go, explore rock pools at Monkstone point or begin to walk the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast Path - picking up some fresh locally caught sea food as you return to your sea front holiday home.

Your a short drive, or scenic walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path , away from Amroth , Wisemans Bridge and Tenby .

The first floor apartment enters in off the front balcony, which leads to all first floor apartments, and into the hallway with a recess which accommodates the bunk beds. Doors lead to all rooms.

Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: Comfortable lounge and dining seating for up to 4 people and flat screen TV. Well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and hob.

Master bedroom: Double bed, built in wardrobe, ample storage space.

Family shower room: Shower enclosure, toilet and wash basin.

Outside, the furnished balcony provides the perfect space to enjoy the spectacular views and an outside spiral staircase, offering direct access onto Saundersfoot's award winning sandy beach.

The apartment further benefits from electric heating and WiFi.

Each apartment has its own allocated parking space. These are best suited to medium sized cars or smaller, as larger vehicles may find the fit a little tight.

Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner.

By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 21 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims.

5. Availability
The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking.

6. Guest Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation from the lead Hirer, the deposit and booking fee will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation after payment of the balance every effort will be made to relet the property. If such reletting is possible the balance or that part thereof that is paid by another client and recouped via replacement booking will be repaid (less the deposit and booking fee).

7. Hirers' Responsibilities
The lead Hirer will ensure that:

All Guests act responsibly and carefully whilst at the Property and the Property is left clean, tidy and in the same state of repair and cleanliness that it was found in, for example crockery and cutlery is washed up and put back in cupboards and refuse is disposed of. Any breakage, damage or excessive mess will be billed to, and must be paid for, by the person who booked the property.
any damage or breakages made during the holiday occupancy are reported to the owner and must be paid for (wear and tear excepted);
no more than the maximum number of people or pets are allowed to stay at the Property (as stated on the Website)
smoking is not permitted in any of the Properties
any applicable laws and local or Government guidance are complied with at all times, and ensure that no lead Hirer or their Guests (if permitted at the Property) or pets (if permitted at the Property) do anything which is illegal, or may cause unreasonable damage, noise, behaviour or disturbance
no one enters

Worst accommodation stayed in after coming to Saundersfoot 3/4 times a year for 12 years.

On entering hallway smelt of damp, on entering bedroom damp smell was overpowering with mould around window & on wall. Neither of us felt comfortable sleeping in bedroom so one of us slept in single bunk bed, one on sofa cushions on lounge floor. When i turned bedroom bedside lamp on i received an electric shock! The only form of heat was a small electric plug in radiator which we had to turn off after 45mins to allow plug to cool as it got very hot! The flat panel heater we proped against wall in hall as screw fell out & leg fell off. Despite airing hallway daily & using panel heater with door was shut damp smell returned! We were only able to shower alternative days as although we put towels on airer on balcony & next to electric radiator it took 2 days for them to dry. The apartment needs a heated towel rail, additional heating in our opinion. There was an issue with sofa position for watching TV. Sofas were at right angles rear left back corner. Small TV was front left corner. We could only pull unit out 1.5 feet due to ariel cable length. This meant one person was sitting at 90 degrees to TV so had to sit lengthways on sofa to watch TV. Very limited number of plug sockets, non at all on kitchen side of room so could not use laptop at table or heater on this side of room. There was one small table lamp in lounge which meant too dark unless you had ceiling lights on all night! I found matching broken lamp in wardrobe & was able to remove shade & balance on top to use. The kitchen worktop offered an area the width of undercounter fridge for food preparation. At the back of this space was kettle/toaster so in effect you could fit chopping board in space. It was a challenge to cook for 2 good luck if your cooking for 4! The electric hob was tempermental & on one occasion i pressed it 27 times before it came on! There was no washing up liquid/cloth/sponge/handwash & only 1 toilet roll. Other accommodation we have stayed in provided these plus a lot more such as kitchen roll, clingfilm, tea, coffee, sugar sometimes milk. Always min 2 toilet rolls short stay, usually 4 for week. We reported the issues by email to Puffin Cottages regarding our concerns for dangerous electrical items, damp, mould, lack of heating, unable to shower daily or sleep in bedroom. Issues with hob, toilet seat hanging off etc. Their response made us both extremely angry, dismissive, inaccurate as they hadn't read our email properly.

Very clean with all basics provided. Comfy bed and good shower. Fantastic view of the beach. We went in February so was rather cold but can imagine it would be a fabulous place to stay in the summer. Would definitely go again.
