„Highly recommend a visit to these YURTS ! Kenya was very responsive during our stay over the Labor Day weekend. Our YURT was very clean upon arrival, equipped with dinnerware and all appliances worked flawlessly.We would also recommend visiting the Clark Point Cafe in Bernard. The tasty pastries are worth the wait at this popular eatery in the town of Bernard.“

„House location is perfect for Bar Harbor and Acadia. Water way behind house was really nice for kayaks, which are provided with the rental house. Fire pit was a great addition to the house for family nights. Overall, house was great. Could use some updating of couches in first floor living room for more comfortably. No a/c on first floor. If listed in rental I missed it. Temps were higher than expected the week we stayed so it was hot. Upstairs bedrooms and family room were much nicer and ...

We enjoyed the kayaks, and appreciated the life jackets in many sizes so we could all participate. Also, the house had a convenient supply of beach shoes (the rocky shore isn't barefoot friendly...). The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, small appliances, and cooking tools. We had a blast!“

„This house is great. The property is excellent. The indoor pool was a hit. Check-in was very easy. Quiet neighborhood. 25-30 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor. One minor item is you cannot change the temperature in the house. It is set to 77. Too warm on a hot day. But once things cooled down the breeze through the house is great with the windows open. I would absolutely rent again. “

„Everything was seamless about checking-in and out. Everything you could possibly think of is available for your use. You literally just need food and clothing. I wish there was AC, but my partner liked it warm. It did cool down late at night and there was a window fan to help. The owner put in a lot of thought in creating a peaceful stay. It was close enough to town to the local restaurants and activities. “

„Such a great little place to stay - the neighborhood is so cute and lots of places to walk. The house has everything you need. Bathroom is large - 2 sinks. Beds are comfortable. Loved the snacks that they provided and coffee/cream. Loved the front sitting area. All was perfect!“

"Vorauszahlung bei Expedia wurde trotz Vorlage der Buchungsbestätigung grundsätzlich nicht anerkannt; eine Woche vor unserem Eintreffen wurde der ohnehin horrende Betrag von fast 700 Dollar für zwei Übernachtungen noch einmal abgebucht und die Eigentümerin war nicht bereit, selbst Kontakt mit Expedia zu suchen... Die Gegend um Bar Harbour und der Arcadia Nationalpark sind noch dazu völlig überbewertet und nur auf Abzocke aus! Frühstück gab es im Papiersack zum Essen auf dem Bett. Das ganze ist aber im Staat Maine durchaus unüblich!"

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."
