Tucked into the heart of Playas del Coco, steps from the beach, the Saturday farmers' market, and the kind of family-run sodas where the ceviche was swimming that morning, this two-bedroom townhouse wraps clean Scandinavian lines in warm Costa Rican teak and delivers a private retreat you can reach without ever turning a key in the ignition.

    Step through the front door (smart-lock, no fumbling for keys) and the first thing you'll notice is how the light moves through the space. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels open onto a central courtyard where your private stone-tiled plunge pool catches the afternoon sun. Teak loungers line a wooden sun deck beside the water. Grab a cold Imperial, lean back, and let the afternoon dissolve.

    Inside, the living room keeps things breezy: a plush cream sofa, a handsome cowhide butterfly chair, and a wall-mounted smart TV, all under soaring wood-paneled ceilings that give the space an airy, loft-like feel. The open kitchen flows right off the living area with everything you need to skip a restaurant night. Think Samsung fridge, glass cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and a breakfast bar for two where morning plans tend to take shape over café con leche.

    Down the hall (lined with gorgeous teak doors and that same warm wood ceiling), two bedrooms wait with comfortable queen beds dressed in cool blue linens.
