„We loved our stay. It was very beautiful and peaceful. The staff brought us a delicious breakfast each morning for a small charge. The only negative is not knowing in advance about the very steep and long cement path from the road to the cabin on the lake. Anyone with physical disabilities could find it impossible to manage.“

„We didn’t have electricity or wifi or hot water for the first half of the trip. It came back after that but was definitely an inconvenience. „Our stay at Eden was the most enjoyable we’ve had in all of Guatemala. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I loved stepping outside of my little cabin and smelling fresh herbs like basil, lavender, and oregano. „Bei der Ankunft wurden wir aufgefordert, mehr als den dreifachen Preis zu bezahlen aufgrund von Feiertagszuschlag. Dies war bei Expedia nicht angegeben. Sie haben uns gezwungen mehr zu bezahlen als vertraglich mit Expedia vereinbart war (das Dorf war sozusagen ausgebucht). Wir hatten ein eigenes Bad gebucht und mussten es teilen. Die WC und Duschtür konnten beide nicht geschlossen werden. Unser Zimmer war direkt neben einer grossen Baustelle, somit ohne Tageslicht. Der Lichtschalter war kaputt. ...

„We arrived just after 10pm, when the garage closed only moments before. The staff was still present and re-opened it for us. We used the covered gated parking area. The hotel is centrally located for Mazatenango proper. How water, fresh towels, soaps, and a complementary bottle of water were waiting for us. The area is safe and secure. There is a nice wall unit a/c which cranked out some super cold air. Next time I am in the area, I plan to stay at this hotel!“

„It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music.
