For those who prefer greater autonomy, renting a car is an excellent option. This allows you to explore the beaches and surroundings at your own pace. There are several car rental agencies at the Huatulco airport.

The buses, known locally as "camionetas" or "estaquitas", are another economical alternative to travel between nearby towns. These vans work as shared transportation and are ideal for those traveling alone or as a couple.
