"Ein fantastischer Hotel mit einem exzellenten Service! Die tolle Lage, die Geschichte, das Flair ist nicht zu topen! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit dem Blick zum Bund. Hier war ich allerdings ein wenig enttäuscht dass das Hotel „so weit hinten“ liegt. Es ist also nicht die aller erste Reihe aber Top. Wir kommen wieder!"

"Obviously you book this hotel for the view from Shanghai tower. At least that is what I did and although I initially booked the cheaper room type, I upgraded to the expensive one with view on Pearl Tower and The Bund.
Spoiler: It is totally worth the extra 100 $.
The rooms are super luxurious, with nice amenities and super comfy bed.
The view is mind-blowing and location... well it´s Shanghai tower, so basically in the heart of Pudong district.
There is a tea bar on 84 floor with nice view and a free buffet, where I had a nice piece of steak, smoked salmon and other nice and free food.
There is also a nice restaurant (The heavenly Jin) on 120th floor, which is even above the public observation deck (118th floor).
Most people prolly stay only 1 or 2 nights. Lucky persons can afford more nights, but even if you stay only 1 night like me, it is an awesome experience! "

5 min walking distance to Bund promenade or East Nanjing Road. You can also walk to Yu Garden in like 20 min, but since DiDi is cheap, I recommend DiDi.
You can actually see Yu Yuan from Rooms that face Yu Yuan.
Hotel offers usual Westin comfort with good equipped and spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, good service and the Westin Heavenly Bed, for which I would rate an extra star.
