I made my reservation through Expedia around 5:30-6:00 a.m. paid for it and it was confirmed by the app that the room was booked, and I received my confirmation to my email at 5:44 a.m. when we arrived at the hotel and provided the reservation’s name, the reception desk clerk said that the reservation was not received and she said that Expedia’s system was having issues and we should contact them because there was nothing she could do. I told her that it was already paid for and Expedia did not give refunds and I was not canceling so it needed to be fixed. She insisted that it was Expedia’s fault and we needed to see if it came through. I tried to contact expedia, but I couldn’t find a phone number so I had to stick with the “virtual agent,” which I give a Zero rating for my issue. Then a second clerk got involved and she saved the day. She made a phone call and got the reservation through. All I can say, this was the third time we use the hotel and this last time was scary, I thought I lost my money. Other than this, the rest of the staff were great, specially the buffet area, very nice people and the food is delicious.
