My partner and I recently stayed at the Oliver Hotel, and unfortunately we were very disappointed with our experience.
When we arrived at approximately 8:30 PM, there was no one at the front desk. We called the hotel multiple times to let the staff know we had arrived, but it took about 40 minutes before someone finally assisted us with check-in. The lack of staff presence made the arrival process unnecessarily frustrating.
After entering our room, we noticed that the floors were extremely dirty, which was very concerning. Additionally, the room had no window, something that was not made clear beforehand. Throughout our stay, there was rarely anyone available at the front desk, so we had to call whenever we needed assistance.
On one occasion, we called to request extra towels and were told they would be brought to our room, but they never arrived. Communication and overall service from the staff were very poor. To add to the frustration, despite asking for the Wi-Fi password on the first night, we never received it during our entire four-night stay.
Overall, the level of service and communication at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below expectations.
