Let me begin by saying that I appreciate how they are improving the PDT neighborhood. I'll start with the Positives of our experience: Staff communicated quickly via WhatsApp, free parking was easy, apartment was conveniently located to Old San Juan and beaches, near bodega and bar and amazing food truck (Misfit Kitchen), A/C worked great, laundry room was useful, sweet kitties around. Now for the Negatives: Based on the photos of the property, we thought the apartment would have a balcony. Upon arrival, the staff stated that I had requested a ground floor apartment. I absolutely did not, and there is no reason that I would have, and I said so. So we did not have a balcony. Also based on the photos, I saw there was a rooftop terrace, but we were not allowed access to it because we had that ground floor apartment. (???) Now to the bathroom...the shower water pressure was almost non-existent...and although a repair man was sent quickly, he only replaced the shower head which made no difference in the pressure once he left. However, he did repair the towel rack that fell off the wall. After that, the toiletries holder fell off the wall and the light toggle switch stopped toggling, but we just lived with those issues and did not complain anymore. It was the holidays and we could live with it. So in conclusion: I would definitely recommend this property (La Ferreteri), I just wouldn't recommend this particular apartment as it was a disappointment inside and out. Sincerely.
