The failure to inform us at check Saturday that there was a water disruption severely compromised the stay. The property manager failed to inform us that San Juan was experiencing a water disruption from a pipe rupture. We found out the next day, when there was no running water early Sunday morning. The property owner said he would call a plumber or refill the cistern. The cistern was not filled until later that evening and we rationed our water usage for the rest of the week. The cistern was refilled again on Wednesday. No using the washing machine or dishwasher. We made continuous trips to stores for water, paper plates, cups etc. The ice maker was also not working, so we purchased ice., Additionally, the house was divided into three separate living spaces which required locking and unlocking three different doors upon any trips away from the unit. My family and I were not pleased. The location is excellent.
